Herceptin Turns ER negative cells to positive

This applies to ER negative/Her2 positive, but it still is pretty amazing and a hopeful sign for therapy in the future for triple negative.

    But if you are ER negative/Her2 positive then you aren't a triple negative.  A triple negative is where ER/PR negative and Her2 is also negative.  So, would triple negatives get herceptin even if they are not her2 positive?

    First, I love your name!  And you are right that this does not apply to triple negatives right now. The reason I posted it is that it shows hope down the line for triple negative women.  At present, only those with Her2-positive get Herceptin.  But if the drug changes negatives to positives, eventually it could provide a cure for all hormone negative cancers, including triple negative.  At least it may be a road to a cure.
