Barbe, I live near San Diego...we are a stopping off place for migratory birds
and it is fun...
M umayan...I just love the Russians use of gold and white together..
There is a wonderful room in the Hermitage also , one of my favorites..
I took this thirty five years ago..
and in this room there is this Faberge Clock..beautiful..
you can see how big it is by the person in the lower left..

Lisa we spent 3 hours in the hermitage but my silly little camera just wasn't wide angle enough for proper picture taking.

Thats my DH in St Petersburg infront of the church of spilled blood. I have never seen a more beautiful Church except maybe Sistine chapel in Rome.
