I am worried for nothing

I meant to say Am I worried for nothing?? 

I developed this rash under my breast.  I thought maybe it was heat rash.  My Dr did say she felt a thinkness under the rash.  My breast feels very full, and ALOT different than the other one.  It also itches and the symptoms did not respond to the antibotics.  My Dr doesn't seem worried, she just thinks it is an infection, and she said just let's wait and see.  My gut tells me something isn't right...I am worried about IBC for nothing?

    If the symptoms didn't respond to an antibiotic, that argues AGAINST this being an infection.  I think you deserve a referral to a breast specialist who is familiar with IBC, to rule out IBC as soon as possible.  "Wait and see" may be okay for a small lump that seems like a fibroadenoma, but IBC is an illness where "wait and see" is not a good idea.  Better to rule it out now and be done with worrying.  I hope your doctor can give you a good referral -- if not, please ask here!  Of course, there can be lots of other explanations -- it's just that with symptoms that may mean IBC, it makes sense to get an answer sooner rather than later.  Best wishes for benign results.
