Sharon, can I have first turn in that thingy? Boy, would I LOVE to be there RIGHT NOW!! hehe

Ok guys, I keep typing this and my laptop keeps crashing, Now I'm giving you the shortened version...
Julz's DIL is still in the hospital. The steriods they were giving her were not working so they switched to giving them to her orally. It seems to be working better. They are hoping she will be able to come home tomorrow. Julz would like to thank everyone for their prayers, they seem to be working! I think we should continue to pray for Jule and Sarah and the rest of the family. Not an easy time for them.
Now, I am going to hit submit and it better not crash! -
Thank you for the update Linda!!! I'll be sending LOTS of prayers up for Sarah, Julz and the whole family!!!
Hospital = BAD
-
I just HAD to post this (LOL)
I think I'll go do a little shopping this weekend.....hehe
-
Well fiddlesticks.....I had a funny pic, but it didn't post
-
Welcome to my world, Coonie!
-
Hahaha Linda. I adore the red colour of the box you posted...........funny 'bout that. Puter gremlins at work I suspect.
-
I want to escape here.
-
I'd like to escape there with you. What a beautiful view!
-
Oh Deborye.......that's a beautiful picture. I could just sit there and stare into space:)
Checkum...........you'll be proud of me. I "kinda" got started on my pennant today.
Please don't be expecting too much. HEHE
-
Linda thanks for reaching out to Julz for us & keeping us in the loop.
((((((((((((((((((((((((Julz & Sarah and the whole family)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
I took a couple of pictures for the thread yesterday -- too amazing to be true. Gotta get them to download and for some reason I'm now having issues with that?????
Stay tuned.
Yes. Checkum, please pace yourself with the Funny Farm, until after you get the 3 Day accomplished. BTW, congrats on being selected as a flag bearer. I sure hope that you have a good camera and remember to take a lots of snaps!!
-
Oh now that's just not fair Faith! Now I'll be getting up all night to see what you post!
-
Faith, Do you want me to post them for you? Just kidding, I'd only be able to post the big red X!
-
..........hehehe, and you know how we all love RED. Goodnight sweet angels.
-
Sure don't want to keep anybody up past their bedtime. LOL!!
So yesterday, we picked up our little boat outta winter storage. DH had come up with the idea to take it down the peninsula to a 'bigger' marina, where we'll have an easier time getting it in & outta the water.
Yes, we live a block from a marina, but it's soooooooooooooooooooo crowded and a serious challenge to get in and out of -- because it's all at funny angles. And there was that incident where my hand got squashed between the pier and our boat -- attempting to maneuver into the loading slip.
Anyhow, this other marina is like 30 miles south of us, but completely accessible (and a whole lot less expensive.)
So we went down to our new on-land-boat parking spot. My DH puts the pick-em-up truck into park and I look up and this is what I see:
Seriously. I just about flipped out!!!! There's our 'mascot' ESCAPE boat!! I took this as the ultimate good luck omen. All is well with the escapees. Our mascot is being readied to sail for another season. Good escapes ahead, for one and all!!
Sleep deeply, friends.
-
Goodnight Ladies!
-
The Mount Washington Observatory - I did that picture as a puzzle. The tree down the side gave me fits.
Yet again, we have more bad news, and our Saint is not tolerating rads well. I feel so bad, cause I said it would be easy and it wasnt. I hope she is still talking to me.... oh boy.
-
My daughter and I plan on hiking up mount washington at the end of the month.
-
OMG Faith!!! That is too freaky! When I saw your pic (before I read the whole post) I went and checked our Escape picture and thought that you'd just sent Checkum one of your own pictures of your own boat! Too weird!!!!!!! Did you get goosebumps? That is giving me CHILLS!!!!!!!!!!
There's that bloody 6 degrees of separation I keep stumbling across.
(See, I did get up in the middle of the night to check out your post! heheheheh)
-
Have fun hiking Mt Washington!! Should be fun!!
That is SOOOOOO weird about the Escape Boat. It is NOT faiths, right?? Just a coincidence?? Freaky!!
Barb, are you on EST? Is it 7 a.m. where you are?? Sleep my friend!
-
Good morning Escapees!!
I'm pretty sure that's the same boat, huh Faithie? It's just sitting on its thone in the last pic:) I think Checkum decided to use it when the thread was first started.
Hey Dream....thanks for letting us know about Saint. I'm sure she's still speaking to you. I guess rads effects everybody in a different way.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Saint)))))))))))))))))) sure hope you're feeling better. Sending lots of hugs and prayers up for you today............. BE WELL AND STAY STRONG
Deborye your pics are so BEAUTIFUL!!! Makes me want to be right there. It sounds like you're quite an adventurer.
((((((((((((((((Julz and DIL))))))))))))))) hope everything is looking up for you all today.
(((((((((((((((Arnie)))))))))))))))))))))) I'm missing you!!! Feel better soon so you can come back HOME!!
-
Good morning Escapees.
How come 'our' boat is in dry dock? Hopefully we don't have to drag out #32!!!
-
Ya, poor Saint. She could use a few extra prayers.
-
Coonie... I've missed all you gals too... Hey, since I've been gone has Checkum added llama's yet...hehehe
Can't believe you saw that boat Faith... maybe it's a good omen and things are gonna turn for everyone
I read back through only all of one thread... just don't have the umph yet... so good vibes to everyone for a great escape today...
-
Thinking of you Saint. Hope you are finishing rads soon and will be feeling better. Keeping you in my prayers.
