-

CHeckum, that's how I pack too!

Hey Escapees!!!! Well, I can sure feel the pressure now. I've got DD out shopping for "pennant" stuff:)........got home last night and feel soooooo much better!!! Very wear and a little "blah", but definitely better!! Thank you all for your words of encouragement, prayers and thoughts. I FELT them the whole week!!!
Jo----so sorry your trip wasn't the best. Next year the Smokey's ?????!!!!!!
Arnie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've caught bits and pieces of some problems your DH is having. Oh My Goodness!!! I'm so so terribly sorry. Is he better? Do they know what's wrong? How are you? I see you're having chemo today. I'm praying for you and Mr. Arnie.........at the top of my list. I realy am so very sorry you're having to go through this at the same time...........chemo and DH health.
One thing I learned while being flat of my back (Other than puking in a pan) is that others have thins so much worse and I never want to forget or put aside the hurts of what others are going through. I didn't experience nausea during chemo, but I know some of you have. My heart and prayers go out to you. I wouldn't wish that on my WORSE enemy. I pray for God to send extra angels to be with you during this time and for you both to feel His strength and encouragement. Just do like I've done the past week.........it'll pass.........it won't last forever. It CAN'T last forever:)
I love you all and I REALLY AM planning to get my pennant to you soon Checkum:) Oh, and it sure looks like I've missed some of the cow business:) I need somebody to catch me up.........ok?
-
Oh my goodness............Julz!!! Normally, I would attack that food with a vengence.........but right now, grits (that's a good southern dish) is the only thing that settles well on my tummy:)
Hugs back at ya Makraz!!!!!
-
(((((((((((((((((((Coonie))))))))))))))))))) NO PRESSURE~!~ Get your self back on two feet before you go making pennants - plenty of time. I have sure missed you and I am glad to see you back posting. Yes, I know what you mean that you can always find someone in a worse jam than you are ... but, that is not to minimize the crap you are dealing with my dear. We all have missed you and are sending up thoughts for healing for you each day. Nothing worse than nausea... I had 2 days of it when I had surgery... puked on the doctors foot - they didn't get the pan to me fast enough
-
(((((((((((((((((((checkum))))))))))) thank you my friend:)
You WILL have my pennants.........one way or the other.....hehe (LOL)
Speaking of puking...........I have made the most humiliating fool of myself this past week. Going back through the ER Thursday night after arriving by ambulance 'cause my blood pressure was in the "stroke" zone...........I remember sitting up on a stretcher (naked).........asking for a bed pan..........30 seconds later.........no bed pan.............pee, puke and poop..........all OVER EVERYTHING...........bed, floor.......I hope I never have to face those people again, but at the time, I didn't really care.................ok, I know...........that's a little too much information:)
-
Well Coonie, they'll likely provide the bed pan a little snappier when the next person asks.
Don't worry snookums............they've seen way worse than that.
-
hehe......yeah......they came as SOON as the mess was made. I wouldn't have wanted to see the look on their faces. I just hope they never see MY face (or booty) ever again.........LOL
-
It was just good to escape that place without further humiliation.........not that there could be any more humiliation than there was...........lol
-
I think I'll try that one Jo
........or just a football helmet or something.
I prayed for the good Lord to just let me live, and when He's ready for me, take me soon.
I would hate to lay in a hospital bed or nursing home bed. That really scares me. Much more
so this week.
-
Hey I have to have the old colonoscopy this year.... I am still dodging it - just thinking of my ass in somebodies face --- oh my!!!! LOL
-
(((((((COONIE)))))))) You are not going anywhere - not allowed !!
-
All together now --- ((((((BIG GROUP HUG)))))) - happy that all our friends are back in action!!
-
Aww Checkum. I was going to say "awww poop" but that hardly sounds appropriate. Anyway, just have it done and they'll you'll feel relieved 'cause all will be ok. I just think because of b.c. we are at a bit higher risk. Well at least that's what my colonoscopy Dr. said.
Coonie is back. And COONIE.......you ain't goin' anywhere any time soon.!!
-
Coonie so glad to see you are home and back where you belong!.....Right here with us!........
And Coonie you aren't going anywhere anytime soon!.....
-
Pennants, pennants, pennants!!
They are all so unique. Special. Heart-felt. Creative. Amazing!!
These newest one are just flat out awesome.
Way to go gals.
If there was any doubt before, there certainly isn't question any longer, is there?
WINNER WINNER WINNER WINNER WINNER WINNER
I just love what creativity exists around here.
See what you've inspired, Checkum??
-
My favorite escape is Panama City Beach and Destin Florida.....I love the white sand, the surf and the food!.........I love to rent a scooter and ride around town in the rain.......I love watching the parasailors and the kids playing in the sand and collecting sea shells........
-
Hi Hollyann & Welcome to Our Escape... white sand, surf and food --- sounds like paradise!
-
here is my escape today in the Canadian Rockies..
-
Wowowowowowow
Lisa we're so fortunate to escape with yoiu -
Good Morning Escapees!
This is my escape:
-
Yikes Linda..........that's quite a red patch you are going through.
-
Not again! I'll try again. Thanks Sharon!
-
Arnie's the only one who caught the zebras! No one else pays attention to the pics....
Coonie, 2 years ago I had chest pains and was sweating so I went to the ER. I was left sitting in the ER while my blood pressure went up to 212 over 114 and I am on FIVE blood pressure medications. I never saw a doctor! They 'assumed' I was having an anxiety attack! (as I calmly did my crossword puzzles for 5 hours). A month later I failed a stress test. Doi! I told my doc they would have to take me in the back of a hearse for me to go back to the ER. I'm certainly glad you got better service!
Will be thinking of you today arnie, as you get the chemo. I probably won't get another chance to check in as I'm soooooooo busy at work!
