Well, seems I WAS misdiagnosed!

My onc in Illinois kept telling me it wasn't IBC....but now I'm in Phx and it certainly is! All this time I have been in so much pain...and all dr would do is chemo! Now here, they are going to start radiation to my breast, chest wall, both hips, and my pelvis. They say this will help with the pain. I sure hope so! I just want to smack my old onc in the head...wth was he thinking? I may contact a lawyer...any suggestions? OH...and the fact that my old onc was just wanting to "watch and wait" on the 2 spots on my brain. ?@# Here, they are going to take care of it NOW, before they get bigger and I have a seizure or something! I wish I would have come here MONTHS ago!!!! UGHHHHHH. Ok, done now. Thanks for letting me vent! :)

    I would consult a lawyer this sound like a big malpractice case. 

    Praying that the radiation will stop the pain.

    I would see a lawyer, you may have a delayed diagnosis case.  Depending on how long from the wrong diagnosis to the correct diagnosi, your cancer may have spread due to the delay.  Most states have very strict statute of limitations 2 to 1 year so don't wait talk to a lawyer immediately.  Once the statute of limations has run, there is nothing you can do.

    Hugs Miss Braddy!...I certainly would recommend a lawyer..he put your life in major jeopardy by misdiagnosing you and wanting to wait and see..........Good luck Sweetie!,,,,,,,Hope all works well for you......

    Thanks ladies for your support on this matter! I think I will be contacting someone soon. I would love to meet up with some phx ibc women Gg08. I am living in Queen Creek right now...having treatments in Scottsdale. Talk to ya's soon. Thanks again!!
