MB has a great breakfast going - the aroma of coffee, bacon, and sweet breads woke me. Time to rise and shine and join us by the fire. Since it is Sunday, gonna look have an old hymn singing and just kind of worship in a silent way. The water or mountains seem to cause us to pause a bit.
Up and at it girls and guys - gonna be a beautiful day. I just tossed on another log so we have warmth from the morning chill.
-
Lucy here...Gonna take the next watch......Dinner is going now...We have some T-bones and baked potatoes and for the vegetarians and vegans we have tofu burgers and beautiful veggie salads and cold beer for everyone (mint juleps for the Southern Ladies)....What a beautiful day we had today!.....Great weather and mild temperatures.......Great walking weather or swimming if you live near water.......I'm gonna sit here on this log and watch the sun go down....What beautiful colors in the sunset!......WOW!.....blues, oranges, reds and greens!...How gorgeous!.......See you all at the campfire!.........
-

-
Up late, can't seem to get to sleep as have lots on my mind. I'll toss on an extra log - lots of dampness in the air.
MB I saw that you had bumped up the 07 thread - so many wonderful memories from lots of ladies that have found their healing. The smiles and the courage - but they also cared about others and continued to reach out. Honestly, I miss them.
To all who need encouragement, a prayer, a hug, a friend to talk to, we all can be found around the fire. The embers are relaxing as they spit and travel into the air. Sometimes we are quiet, sometimes we have tears but always here for each other.
-

-
Debbie, hope your oncology visit went well. Thanks for keeping the fire going.
Fumi, so sorry to hear about your father. Sending you a big cyber hug and wish your family was't dealing with this heart breaking news.
My thoughts tonight are on so many that I know that are traveling some difficult roads - LisaSDCA, Chemosabi, Neesie and Fred, Val and Bill especially. My thoughts turn to avatars';/names and post of sisters that we have lost - those that have received their angel wings.
We have a strong breeze tonight and there are so many wagons in our circle. The fire is warm and inviting as is the sisters that gather, I am constantly amazed by their strength, courage, and faith as they deal with the hand that has been deal them and those that they love. We come from many different places, different backgrounds and faith but we have a common thread and it is cancer - breast cancer. Some are walking in the road of pancreatic, lymphoma and colon cancer. The fears are the same - the journey is just as difficult. Thankfully we have a circle - a circle that never ends, never broken. The warmth of friends and our ever burning fire gives solace and strength for our weary bodies and emotions.
May you wrap yourself in the warmth of knowing you are special and that others care - blessings to all.
-
Dr canceled til next week, second cancelation. I am a number, I am thinking
about changing because we are doing nothing with & nodes in thyroid. Wheres

Night has fallen and it is going to be a cold one. It is time for my watch. Have put plenty of logs on the fire.
I hear noises in the darkness but don't worry I will be on look out for any dangers to you all.
Sleep easy sisters, you need your rest for the battles we face tomorrow.
I have my supplies... billy tea (green of course) & a packet of timtams (aussie choc cookies).
Hugs to you all,
Viv
