    Merilee, Mom2two talked to her today.  She has had a bad (really bad) stomach bug.  I think she is on the up side now.  Fingers crossed.

    On our way up here, we stopped in at an art gallery called, "The Flying Pig."

    (Those of you around last year will remember when I made my first pilgrimage there.)

    In honour of the new page, here's the sunset from out last night in Punta Cana.

    Love the pigs Faith, but what's with the painted wall behind everything? Kind of distracting!

    Arnie's DH Gary was also slurring his words this time, so scary...Arnie has chemo coming up soon and had a bad round last time. She needs big hugs for the next round!

    Barbe..... need to answer your question before I forget. The pics I posted I took in the bathroom of the gallery. LOL. There is a no picture-taking policy in the gallery itself. The bathroom has hand painted quotes all over the walls (large) and then the pig-nonsense is thrown in for added pizzaz.

    It's quite a bathroom to behold.

    Arnie & Gary, I'm not all together up-to-date, but I see that we're not outta the woods yet. I'm so sorry for all that you've undergone, Arnie, since we've gotten acquainted.

    Sharon, thank you for the update & keeping us in the loop on our hospitalized.

    Arnie, You are due a grandiose "escape" when all settles down and all of these health issues are well behind you in the rear view mirror. We'll keep you company until you arrive at your escape.

    Checkum, have you been able to 'train' any for the walk? How's your tent parnter's fund raising going?? Thinking of you having so much fun w/all of the pennants. Wait till you see Julz! She's gonna need an award -- so be thinking of something digitally appropriate.

    Escapees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just checking in from the hospital bed.......I've had a grand escape this week. Feeling much better........praying to go home tomorrow:) Thank you all for your love, prayers and friendship. Can't wait to get back to a fine escape with all of you:)!!!!!!

    Hope to catch up tomorrow when I get home!!!!!!!!!!!

    Faith - can't wait to see Julz's creations!!! Now I am curious.  I have been training - it is a challenge to keep the balance with training and trunk lymphedema --- but, I am doing the best that I can.  Leona (my teammate) has raised $1080.00 - she still has a ways to go.. I am hoping my company gives me a donation that I can divert to her account.  We will get there .. alot of people say the donations are slower this year (with the economy - it is kind of not a surprise).

    Lol...I love you guys!  Told leslie last night that I picked 4 or 5 threads to post on because they were uplifting... sorry I've been such a downer lately Frown   But keep up the "funnies" because they make me smile.... 

    Mr. Arnie gave me quite the scare on Saturday... we had a nice day outdoors and came in for a nap.  I had just snuggled in when he called out to me, slurring his words...so I didn't even give him a choice I just called 911.  They've done multiple tests since Saturday, his WBC was up so he's on antibiotics and they haven't found the source for that either... Our main doc who was out of town this weekend will be in this a.m. soooooooo hopefully he'll take control and we'll start getting some answers. 

    I was going to cancel my last AC for tomorrow, but my family is insisting I don't.  I'm a little concerned about being in my "chemo" fog while this is going on with Mr. Arnie.  Still not sure what I'm gonna do.

    Again, my precious friends... thank you so much for the prayers and good wishes....

    I used to worship the sun...........long before we worried about UV and stuff. Now I find the sun saps my energy and makes me dizzy.  Well, at least I'm blaming the sun............

    Well Escapees.....I finished 2 Pennants just a few minutes ago......Then come to find out while I was asleep My Dear 12 year old Son decided on his first day off for Summer Vacation.....That the Coputer needed some Fine Tuning!!!! Yell!!!!! So I have the Pics all taken of the 2  I have completed but can't show them!!!!! So....DH will try & get a USB Cable & get things going so I can show the ones I have done!!! My Third one is drying then I just have to Zip the top on it! & that one will be done.......The last one is gonna be the One that has my Creative Thinking Cap Twisted.....Oh Well....

    JO.....You Got Time & I am sure that with your Talent it will be Just Fab. We will Squeeze them in at the Last Minute!!!!.....BTW....I have always had fair skin not too bad but my Blood pressure meds make it real bad Now!  No fun is it!  I loved your View at the Beach!

I don't spend much time in the sun because of that fact & Burn Central ......any more!

    My 14yo loves to take computers apart and rebuild them.  He started when he was about 8 with our computer.  We were not happy.  Now he 'collects' broken computers and fixes them in my basement.  I have tons of them down there.  At least it keeps him away from mine!  I hope your DH fixes yours so we can see your pennants!!  Checkum must be getting so excited.  I know I can't wait to see her tent.
