LIFE'S A BEACH!

Morning beachettes.
Still hoping I didn't upset anyone's breakfast w/the tighty-whities. LOL.
Dream -- great to see you wading into the waters.
Footie -- I'll see if I can find a stud-muffin, without blonde hair for you. I bet Julz could do it.
Coonie -- I could use one of those chairs and that view, too.
Elaine -- have you seen Barbe's pictures on Facebook?? Are you on there?
Where's everyone else??
(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Arnie))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
How did your "Relay" walk unfold?? I'm sure it was very emotional for you this year.
Sharon -- I miss your sweet wit. Sure hope that you can find some industrial strength sunscreen and find your way back to our shores.
We leave for our summer hiatus in northern WI on Wed. Sooooooo much to do between now & then. In an effort to be productive and get ready to go, I'm planning to be a bit less present here.
Hugs to all who might be reading along.
We have so many who are MIA of late. Know that I send up prayers for all who've ever graced our shores.

I did sign up for facebook but really don't know what to do with it. Guess I should figure it out so I can see the pictures. Help?

So I was sitting at my laptop this morning, working on some actual 'work.'
One single solitary lightening strike outta NO WHERE, rumbled the earth around our house so suddenly it set off our smoke detector.
Weird thing number two: our electricity never flickered.
Weird thing number three: it fried our neighborhood's cable connection -- no TV nor computer for anyone on the cul-de-sac.
(I'm over @ babytown, saying my good byes for the month.)
***New milestone: we met with a realtor this afternoon and have indeed, officially put our home on the market. I am hoping that it takes about 2 years to sell. DH would prefer two months, I'm sure -- so it will probably be somewhere in between. So begins the process of keeping it "in shape" for showings and other nonsense.
GET me outta here...... WI here we come!!
It will be the very end of the week before I'm back on laptop, up north. Cable peeps coming on Fri to get that world wired.
Will attempt to keep it touch from BB.
hugs to all.
appologies ahead of time, if I start a page and can't get a pic there...... I won't know till Sat. LOL.
Coonie will be my back up!
-
Not wading, am wildly running and splashing and laughing... two minutes at a time.
-
(((((((Faith)))))))))) have a wonderful time, you deserve some time off!!! The lightning thing was scary...glad you guys are ok.
Hope all you beachettes have a wonderful day...
-
Have a wonderful trip! Scary thing that lightning, good to know no one was hurt.
Dream...heres to another wild splashing day
-
OK....... the cable seems restored, but can't get laptop to 'work'
@ DH's office on my way to an exciting meeting......... (think good thoughts!!)
Then must get the pick up truck packed
(insert image of Beverly Hill Billies in all of their glory!)
Just want you all to know that I'm sending out good vibes for each and every one of you.
-
Hey Julz, thanks for the, ahem, biker boy toy. LOL
Faith is running her butt off, as usual!
Hi there, Coonie!
Where is Sahalie?
Bikers like the beach too!!
-
wowowow, Janny, you really put me in the mood.
Our big green 'bike' is already up in WI -- just waiting for our arrival.
Things are more or less packed, but we've run outta steam for today. Hopefully we'll get a new set of energy, bright and early to tackle the remaining chores.
The realtor came and put a sign in our front yard. I asked her to wait till we were outta town..... she's a whole lot more eager than I am. LOL.
It is what it is.
Will check in from the road -- assuming I can get the BB to cooperate.
Everyone take good care of each other.

Safe travels Faith. Are you gonna be anywhere near Saint? If so, can you give her a hug from me?
-
Dream. We are hoping to stop & spend the night at Saint's on our way north...... if she is up to it.
I promise if we are able to see her -- I'll give her a great big hug from you.
It will all depend on how she's feeling.
-
I got on...here we are on Lake Superior..
we have very sporadic connections...hugs all around

-
Yeah, Makraz... foots that lake is always cold!
-
This is for Foot, those waves look deadly!!
-

It truly is a beautiful lake... but have seen it like this many times...we used to dare each other to go in...even after a hot summer it was still bone chilling cold.
-
Hi again..I guess they had a pretty cold, long winter here..just having spring now..tulip time
