Oh Checkum! I went back and looked. You done good!
I had that pack of cards since before I got bc. Never opened them, but kept them for some reason, then thought they'd be very appropriate for your weekend. (Gotta wonder if the cancer was already growing in me when I got them.....hmmmm)
-
Here's DH and I at the airport before we escaped!
-
Nice looking husband, Barb!!

Good morning Escapees. Coonie asked me to let you know she is very ill with flu like symptoms which caused dehydration to the point she was at emergency yesterday to get some fluids. She's still feeling crappy this morning. Says she never felt this bad during chemo.
Get well soon Coonie. Gentle hugs.
Edit to say.......whoopsi, Coonie is DONE chemo, this is the flu........or a flu, whatever. I never express myself very well. What I should have said was that when Coonie 'got' chemo she never felt as bad as this.
-
Awwww Coonie (((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))))) Tell them to get the pre-mix RIGHT!!!!
Ginger tea!
-
Get well soon, Coonie! We miss you!

I just know you're gonna win... and I'm with Linda, can't wait to see your tent!
Linda... have you been getting sunshine? When do the boys get out of school? I used to love the summer when they were out of school...less activities to run to for a bit.
sharon... thanks for giving us the heads up on coonie...hope she's feelin' better today, let us know if you get an update. ((((((hugs))))))
(((((((((((((((coonie)))))))))))))))
To all you other escapees... good vibes being sent your way!
-
Checkum, glad it's working!
Arnie, The boys are out 17th and the 23th, they go to different schools. We will have a lot more activities in the summer, it's always none stop!! They will have fun, though. Today is my youngests field day at school. Every year it's 95 and humid!! This year it looks like 75! Yeah!!
Hope you all are doing well!
-
Makraz... That sounds like fun... I used to love field day. At our elementary they used to have the kids decorate their bikes and at the end of field day they would parade through the neighborhood on their decorated bikes, being led by a Westland fire engine. What fun!
-
Arnie, that sounds like fun!! We don't do that at field day but many kids do for our Community Dy which is next weekend.
-
It was Makraz... those times are fond memories... I know it's busy! lol We were very involved with all there activities, and they were five years apart....soo it felt like we never had free time back then.... now I look back and it seems like it went soooo fast. My son is 22 now and last night he had a bunch of his buddies over playing hockey out in the back...still love hearing the laughter and antics
I had a girl and a boy, Makraz, and their friends still come and visit! lol
-
That's so nice Arnie. You were (are) a great mom!! My boys are 3.5 years apart and always seem to be going in different directions. They are total opposites so it keeps it interesting! I hope when my kids are in there 20's they still come and visit me! I'm sure they will still be living with me!
-
They will Makraz...you sound like an awesome mom too!
-
Great pennants Arnie! And no bananas! You done good
My son (27) still loves to "play" with me and in fact, bought a traveling Scrabble game for the trip. Insisted we play many times. I love it!
-
Thanks barbe...(((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))) Don't you love it? My son takes me for my bloodtest every Tuesday I don't have chemo... I offered to ask somebody else but he insists on taking me. We usually do lunch, or go to a flea market... good time.
My escape today...
