my mom went for her 5 yr check up and they said they seen something. i take her monday for a breast mri . i am sooo worried. has anyone had a doctor think they seen something and the breast mri be o.k .

After my last mammogram I had to get a breast MRI and all was well.............. my Dr. said that this allows them to see more than a mammo does. Hope all goes well with your Mom.

I had that happen. My breasts were very dense and it was hard to tell what certain areas were. The MRI clears up a lot of the confusion.

My half sister and my friend both have "lumpy breasts" and both have MRIs. My daughter is 20 and has had 2 US due to lumpy breasts. My best wishes for your mom.

thank you all for the support. i am so nervous. when she was diagnosed 5 yrs ago i was with her. i can not imagine it again. i am making my sister go this time cause i am so scared . i am being positive in front of mom but i can tell she is so scared. i pray it is nothing yet my stomach is in my throat. god bless you all and thank you for replying.
