This is an email from a guy I used to work with...
His wife had stage 4 Lung cancer and has been on this trial in Boston that has gotten terrific response... He showed me the scan of her lung before the drug and after - it was amazing!!!
Incredible stuff!!!
Subject: Linnea Duff will be on ABC nightly news next week
Guys,
My wife Linnea's success in the Phase 1 clinical trial for stage 4 lung cancer is becoming big news. On 5/27, she was filmed at MGH in Boston for her routine (every 2 weeks) clinical trial visit. Yesterday, a camera crew came to our house in New Hampshire to film & interview her. We were told that her story will air sometime on the ABC Nightly news (6:30 EST) on Monday, June 1st.
Also this weekend, her results will be highlighted at a major cancer conference by ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) in Orlando, FL. She continues to feel great with little to no side effects from the Pfizer drug known as a c-met & ALK inhibitor. I continue to marvel at how science, incredible health care, and Linnea's strength has brought her so far...
