had port placement and chemo today

Well i finally did it, I was so nervous all last night and couldnt sleep, i had to get up at 4 am and be at hospital at 5:45 am was out of there by noon and at 1pm went for chemo, My port was pretty sore, but not like i expected, and since they left the needle in, i didnt feel any thing in my port during chemo, so far iam just sore and a little nauseas, but yay, i got thru it, I go in for the nulesta shot tomorrow which i hear makes your bones ache, i told the nurse who was giving me the chemo that i was worried about the nulesta shot hurting tomorrow, she said they usually hurt because they give them to fast, and she does it slower so hope this may help someone, will see tomorrwo if that is the case,but mostly i want to thank all of you for your support and help, with out this forum i wouldnt of know what to ask or what to prepare for, so thankyou all from the bottom of my heart
