chekum... You're welcome! Thanks for such a great thread, where we can laugh and forget the problems of the world!
This is where I'm escaping to.... catch ya all later -
Arnie - that looks like my bed - cat and all!
As a getaway - I think it would be fun to live in a lighthouse like the one pictured:
-
km...Speaking of the cat... did the vet call??? It looks like my cat Simon that passed away last fall at the age of 19. I just took a three hour nap
and thought of your Oliver when I woke up.
Hope Barbe is fine dining in Punta Cana...
and enjoying the beautiful scenery...
-
Arnie - I spoke with the vet - she says his thyroid came down from 40 to 24 (normal is about 4) and his kidneys look good. She is waiting for the specialist to call back - probably tonight. Here's my problem - the hyperthroidism could be masking other problems so I spend all that money only to find out he has more serious problems. If the specialist thinks this will help then I will do it. The other thing his vet said was that sometimes the hyperthyroidism is the result of cancer - I think adenocarcinoma. She will all me back tomorrow. In the meantime, Oliver and I will hang out waiting. That is so sweet of you to think about him, thank you.
-
Km... you're welcome... love our precious little furry friends. We've had to make tough decisions in the past...I alway consider the amount of pain they will experience by taking action, bless their hearts...they can't talk. But they sure do give a lot of Love! Hope you have a good night, I'm ready to kick back... have a sore throat tonight.
-
-
Oh my goodness!!! Merilee!!! I want that white kitten:) soooo cute!
Kathleen.......I'm so sorry about Oliver. I just can't imagine how you're feeling. Well, I CAN imagine it, but I hate to. Sending you and Oliver big hugs tonight (((((((((Kathleen/Oliver))))))))))
Hey Arnie!! Hope that sore throat goes away soon!! That could be the start of a nasty summer cold........uugghhhh..
Ya'll wouldn't believe this, but I logged on earlier, had a HUGE reply ready to send and a thunderstorm came through here.......power went off and I lost internet. But anyway.....I'm thinking of you all and hope you've had a great day!!! Love all of you Escapees!!!!!!!
Checkum----I PROMISE I'm gonna send my pennant soon. I have the stuff, but I just gotta sit down and do it:) Oh Arnie........LOVED your shirt!! That's so sweet of you to think of your sistahs here. It's so humbling to see our names:) Thank you!!
Nighty night everybody!
-
awww cute kitty --- Sharon's puter must be acting bad again....
-
Thanks..... for putting me on your shirt.
-
Checkum,
Apparently the pics didn't post. Mom told me (thanks Mom). Try this link. It worked on the other thread. It should be a link to my pennant.

Night night escapees...........I be vewwy vewwy tired....
-
G'nite Coonie!
-
When will I ever get caught up around here -- I'm falling further and further behind.
MaK: I just went to the link that shows your pennants -- they're TERRIFIC!!!!
I can't wait to see the 'finished' tent.
Checkum: you're gonna win for certain, I just know it!
Arnie: Your t-shirt is brilliant...... to have the different 'categories' is brilliant!
Thank you to both of you for including all of us.
We are "here" for one another. Much love to each & all.
-
I am 'escaping' into more and more "work" (seriously, it's kinda like work) over the next week -- before we head north to our summer 'get-away.'
Just don't want you to be concerned as I 'disappear' over the coming week. State convention of happy people (teachers of young children -- I have a 2 hour workshop presentation & a booth over each of three VERY long days.) It's so much fun, but pretty exhausting at the same time.
Have some great escapes.
By the time I'm back Checkum will have an entire farm of fun: goats, llamas, chickens and all the other furry friends.
xx00xx
-
Good morning Escapees!
Faithie......I hope your convention goes great. I know you'll do wonderful. You must be so exhausted. Hope you'll be able to take some time off during the summer. You DESERVE it:)
Linda...........I do love your pennants. It's the first thing I thought of when I woke up this morning. I HAVE GOT to do mine. Pressure pressure pressure.
Sharon? Have you done your yet? Please tell me no........hehe
Checkum's working on getting more animals? I knew about the pigs and cow!! Oh Checkum.....I think goats and sheep are so cute and sweet. And with those, you don't have to, umm.....well....KILL THEM! You can use their wool and milk
lol
Good day to all Escapees!!!!!! ((((((big hugs to all))))))))
-
Good morning Coonie, I felt like the pressure was on when I saw Faiths! I had to get it done before the kids got out of school!
Good Morning All!
-
-
I have to go to the bus stop....wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like your pic is a red X too. Narragansett bay.....are you from RI??
-
LOL........I understand Linda.........I'm feeling the pressure BIG TIME now:)
Kathleen.......can I have the middle chair so I can have company on both sides?
