Arnie - just saw the foot doctor today - on the mend but still an open wound. Cripes - when is it ever going to heal.
I took my cat in to the Vet's early this morning. He has hyperthyroidism and it looks like the medicine is no longer working which leaves us with a radioactive thyroid injection. He has a fever so they took blood and x-rays ($400) which showed nothing. It is just as well because the specialist will need those results before his radioactive injection. He will be kept for 3-5 days until there is an acceptable level of radiactivity in his body and then sent home ($1,000). Get this - the instructions say not to let the cat sit on your lap or sleep in your bed for the first month. Right!
That's my story for today.

Geez o' petes km... I'm sooo sorry to hear about your foot still be an open wound and your precious kitty. We've been there with some of our animals... it's sooooooooo expensive. My alex died on the operating table after over a $1000.00 bill. They're our babies though... right?
I'll be praying for your foot and your kitty...what's the name? Yeah right, a month...
-
His name is Oliver. He is black and white and even people who don't like cats like him. One of his favorite things is to lie on your chest. He always sleeps in my bed and every morning he is in my face licking me and with ESP telling me to get up and get his breakfast!
And, yes, they are our babies.
-
Love the name km... yes, we treat our animals like our babies too... They're precious! My prayers are going up for you and Oliver...

Goodnight you cuties...

Ok friends,
I got my pictures of my kittens off the camera into a Photobucket account. Now what??? I tried several methods that I found on the 'Crafts' thread but nothing happened. DH was even here to supervise. I tried 'clicking on the photo, right clicking and hitting copy. Then moved to this site, hit paste but photo didn't arrive. What did I do wrong?
Going to quit for evening but would appreciate some help. I took some really cute pics of these babies & would like to share. Maybe God is trying to tell me something I should just stay away from. Nawww.
Blessings,
Wendy

What's your preference Merilee? Coffee or tea?
-
Good morning Cutie Patooties.
What a lovely pic Arnie. Such a look of love in both your eyes. But Arnie sweetie, are you still using a soother?
(And you've not even got the right end in.
)Edit to add.............OH MAN, the beauty (not) of the written word. Arnie, I wasn't making any reference to your GD using a soother...........it's in your mouth so I was joking about YOU using it. Not you using it for her. hehehehe. Sorry if it sounded that way and am wondering if this is sounding any better
-
Is that what you call them??? lol We call them paci's. lol I wish my dd would take that darn thing away from her... I'm constantly pulling it out of her mouth! lol Yeah, she's a keeper

I get to see them again today and I can't wait! They're a big part of my joy!
This is her brother...my "other" sweetie..Proud grandma here!! lol

Arnie - you look great - you and your granddaughter have the exact same profile. I love it!
-
Arnie
That is a great picture. Does someone love being a grandma? HA HA HA it shows!

COONIE... Are ya havin' fun???? -
Arnie.... dont take it from her. I always pretended I couldnt understand what they were saying unless they took it out. And Id say, I dont know what you just said. Can you take the paci out? And they usually did/ repeated what they said and put it back in. keep it up no matter what else is going on. Eventually the desire to be heard will have her losing the darn thing
-
(((((((((((dream))))))))))))))) that's a great idea!
They came over Saturday morning... I watched them while dd had a little time to do some errands, we had sooooooo much fun... Trent and I squirted each other with the hose and then we had cupcakes and we ended up with them all over us! lol
