Hey everyone.  I had an appt with my onc last week and showed him the "lumps" i'd been feeling in my under arm area.  He could feel them as well, so he ordered an MRI just to make certain.  It's really hard to tell because they are near my scar lines.  He said nothing that he feels alarms him, and he's always been right so I'm going with that.  Wink  I love my onc tho - he always errors on the side of caution.  So we'll sit back and see what happens.  98% ok 2% scared.  Tongue out  Got lots going on between now and then, so at least I won't have time to dwell.

I had three lumps post mastectomy which were benign: a suture granuloma (collection of festering cells not knowing what to make of the suture), a neuroma - bulbous like end of cut nerve, and some scar tissue. Now I've got a skin age spot (actinic keratosis) developing from the radiation. These area the kinds which you can peel off the skin, although best to have them removed by a derm.

Will keep you close in thoughts.

Jill...Sorry for your worry, but you know the deal...After we've been through all that we have, we can never get a lump or bump or ache without thinking that the worst is possible.

Let us know when you get the all clear!

Jill--Hang in there and try to stay busy.  It's much easier said than done.
