Any WI girls out here?
Hi to all!, I live in Sun Prairie, WI and am wondering if there are any other WI girls out on this thread?

HI Lisa,
I'm from Bloomer, 15 miles north of Eau Claire, close to Chippewa Falls. Cool way to make a cat with symbols.
Hope you are doing well, looks like you are still in treatment. Feel free to private message anytime with questions. This board and the AMAZING ladies here helped me so many times.
Blessings,
Wendy

Me again.... since you live in WI, do you know about the breast cancer recovery foundation? They do fabulous retreats. I went to one on Madeline Island. Also they have fundraisers and events down in the Madison area.

Hi Lisa, I grew up in Marshfield, went to school in Madison, and have lots of family all around Dane County... (I'm in New York now, though).
Here's a link to a "Southern Wisconsin get-together" thread -- I don't know if the get-together happened, but it'll give you a few names of other members in Wisconsin:

I used to live in SP and still frequent that city regularly. I currently live outside of Columbus. I had my tx in the early part of 2006 at 1 S Park -- Madison.
Would be happy to chat with you or visit if you have any questions or need added support.

Anyone going to the Brat Fest this weekend in Madison at Willow Island (Alliant Center)?
-
Hi Wisconsin Girls,
I live in Altoona--northwestern Wisconsin. But I frequent Madison almost weekly because I have a beautiful daughter(teaches in Sauk Prairie) and granddaughter (junior at Madison Memorial) who live in Madison. I visit to watch her volleyball, basketball and track!

I am in Lake Mills half way between Madison and Milwaukee on the interstate. Just starting my journey with this, had my first AC treatment last Wednesday, so still sorta out of it yet. I am going to Oconomowoc for my treatments.

Hi WI gals......
I'm from OH but we have a little postage stamp of a place in Door Co. We're headed north in about 12 days!! We plan to be there most of June and July. I have met with two gals -- Saint lives in Beloit and Lynnie lives in the Sturgeon Bay area.
Artsee and Marejo live up north and we're hoping to meet up this summer.
I'll serve lunch to anyone that wants to come to Sister Bay!!
-
I am a born and raised Green Bay girl myself. I moved to Florida about 7 years ago, but I still go back a few times a year (to go to Door County, Eagle River or a Packer game). Nicest people in the world live in that state!!

Hi,
I currently live in Wauwatosa, a close suburb to Milwaukee, but will be moving to Pewaukee in about a month, which is about 20 miles west of Milwaukee. Pewaukee is actually my hometown. I am having my treatments at the Clinical Cancer Center at Froedtert. I haven't started treatment yet, my radiation actually starts on Tuesday and I'm getting more nervous everyday!

YEA! Ladies from WIsconsin!!
I was born and raised in Madison but now live in Woodruff. Luckily my treament place was only seven miles from home. I could ride my bike!

If you really rode your bike 7 miles to treatment, way to go!!!!! I can barely, on my 6th day, after my first AC treatment walk from one end of my house to the other!!!!
-
blondie45,
I can ride my bike to my checkups. I don't think they'd want someone biking after chemo. Too risky. I finished chemo in December.
I went to a really neat estate sale in Lake Mills once. I found some really nice carved mother of pearl buttons.
