My trip to the "special" lingerie shop

Options

Hey All,

Just wanted to share my blog about my "fitting" for my first set of removable girls.  Many of us have to face this and while we are all thankful to be alive, it's still a little surreal.  I thought if my experience could help someone feel less weird (meaning, I'm more so, HAHA) than that's one more kick in breast cancer's face.  I think it's great how we can all come together to support one another on this journey. Foobie wearers unite!!!!!  My journal entry regarding this bit of fun is dated April 14, 2009.

I enjoyed reading about your experience and appreciated your spirit and sense of humor. BUT, you shouldn't have to wear granny bras and not all foobies are heavy!! Have you checked out my website, BreastFree.org? In the Breast Forms section and the Bras and Camisoles section, I list some options that women have found comfortable and attractive. It took some trial and error for me to find options that were comfortable for me--now I love my Silique Comfort Lite forms. They weight just 3 ounces each and are soft silicone (complete with nipples) in front, with comfortable fabric in back. And I also have non-silicone forms that I use for exercise and casual wear.

I hope you adjust to your new breast forms and bras. But if not, don't despair. There are a lot of choices out there.
