Where do you purchase your supplements?
I went to Costco today and was looking in the vitamin aisle. I am currently taking vitamin D but had a list of other supplements that I want to begin taking. All of the things I was looking at, vitamin A, C & E and CoQ10 contained soybean oil. I am not interested in taking soy considering not only since my BC was ER+ but I also take thyroid meds.
I will also be adding tamoxifen as soon as it arrives from the mail order pharmacy. It has been an agonizing decision whether to take the tamoxifen.
I want to take back control of my health. To move beyond this ordeal and live my life without worrying about whether it will come back.
So where do you purchase your supplements? I haven't been to a health food store. I was shocked that everything I looked at contained soy. Bummer!

I buy my stuff at Vitamin Shoppe (www.vitaminshoppe.com) - they also have retail stores. If you join their frequent buyer program you get cash back, too.

Hi Ann,
I've bought a lot of things from Vitacost.com and Luckyvitamin.com. When I want to buy herbs and spices to fill my own capsules, I often buy from mountainroseherbs.com (they also have lots of other things, too, like essential oils, pure cocoa butter, etc., and most, if not all of the stuff is either organic or cultivated without chemicals). Best of luck.

Hi Ann,
I also wanted to add that, with the exception of my DIM supplement, everything I take is soy free (and vegetarian). I've had good luck with such companies as Nature's Plus, Solgar, Natrol (CoQ10), and Spring Valley (this is my vitamin D, which I bought at Walmart).
