LIFE'S A BEACH!

Dearest Beachies.....Thanks SO Much for thinking of Me this last week....It sure has been one for My Record Books of Most Wanting to Forget.....I will Keep Going as it is the Only thing I can do!
This Morning a Little after 5 am Eastern time....My Dear Mother-In-Law was Made whole again....She passed on to a better life. Over 15 years ago she was DX with BC not once but 2 x's in 2 short years.....She never wanted to talk of it.....she had 2 mastectomies in those years & went on with her life never to talk of it again. I'm sure she worried.....but never let on. As far as we know the Cancer never came back. Parkinson's is What finally took her.
On top of Trying to be with her the last final days My DH & I have been Worried about our second oldest son.....As I had mentioned last week. He had to have his appendix out....only to find out that is was NOT INFECTED....Later to find out that had the Dr's Looked at the WHOLE CT scan more closely they might of seen the narrowing & thikening in his small intestine. Would the Dr's still have done the Surgery.....I don't know....At this time we don't know what all this means but Highly suspect that he may have Crohn's like his oldest brother. We travelled to pick him up from his College town where he had the emergency surgery & are seeking a Second opinion from our home town Dr's for him. Lets just say that Big Hospitals are not Always better & Technically our Children May be the Adults in the Eyes of the Court....but they are not always Treated that way by our Medical Professionals!!!!!
I'm doing Ok.....Glad My Son is home so I can get the Help he needs.....
And Such Bitter Sweet Release as my MIL is no longer in pain suffering!
Thank You.....Faith, Coonie, Sharon, Foots, Arnie, EWB, Makraz, MOM, Texasrose, Lisa, Dream......& All the Others from A's to Z's & In betweens.

When sorrow comes, God's promises are shining rays of hope that break through cloudy skies to bring us warmth & help us cope. He promises to love us & to hear our every prayer, To comfort us, & Guide us, & to always just be there.....
He promises to give us strength to weather any storm, to be someone we can lean on who will keep us safe & warm. For God will never leave us all alone when skies are grey, As long as we believe & trust, His love will light the Way. Wishing you the peace that comes from knowing God is there, And praying he'll keep you in his promised, gentle care. by: Lynn Doby

Oh Julz- I am so sorry for all that has gone on! What a week. Know that you and your family are in my prayers as you go thru this sad time. I also pray that the docs are able to find out what is going on with your son and can come up with a plan to get him back on the way to good health.
Gentle hugs and prayers,
Elaine

Oh dearest-Jewels-of-the-beach.
My heart is with yours. I know that your MIL's passing brings her peace and wholeness and at some level brings closure to her suffering. For that we rejoice, with the heavenly angels.
The timing of your son's health crisis and this passing sends me into a full-tilt of prayers on your behalf. Know that your many friends here will continue to say numerous prayers for your strength in the face of all that life has dealt you.
You are an inspiration to all of us.
Big hugs during this time of need.

Morning beach bunnies...... today's a day of preparation for me: packing, reorganizing, getting hair spiffed up, must go to the warehouse, get my mom's mother's day present packaged, return library materials. YIKES -- I'd better get a move on!!
Big hugs to all, up and down the beach who may be in need of them.

POSITIVE QUOTE OF THE DAY:
-----------------------------
We need a renaissance of wonder. We need to renew, in our hearts and
in our souls, the deathless dream, the eternal poetry, the perennial
sense that life is miracle and magic.

Julz, I'm so sorry to hear about your MIL. And your poor son having to go through surgery. I agree that the big city hospitals are not always the best place. I'm hoping for healing for your son and only good news!
-
Hello Beachettes.
Julz, thinking about you.
Gentle hugs to one and all.
Ahhhhhh, the water feels fine!
-
Beachie kids!
Our little b&b get-away is still moving forward. I'm soooooooooo psyched!!
I've spoken to Julz this morning & they'd just been to see a specialist w/son & tests have been ordered. Anyhow, J has decided to go ahead and meet up with me for a leasurely afternoon and dinner in the Inn's restaurant.
Just also got off the phone with EWB-Elaine and she feels up to making the drive as well.
So as of this minute my DH will be in the good graces of the 3 of us gorgous gals!!
(Yes, he knows what a lucky guy he is!!)
Will go recharge phone and camera right now.
Janny babe. So glad to see you splash thru.... know that will mean the world to J.
Big hugs. Must go get my act together.
-
SURPRISE!
DH just called and he wants to hit-the-road, shortly!! Wants to get the driving done tonight.
(There's a golf course calling his name.)
So I'm turning off my computer.
Didn't want you to think that I vaporized in all of my excitement!
