Starting Chemo May 11th..anyone else?

Hi all,

 On March 25, 2009 I was diagnosed IDC triple negative grade 3. I had a SNB followed by a lumpectomy on April 10th. The path report revealed a 1.8cm tumor/no node involvement/no vascular invasion and clear margins. As good as could be expected, I guess. Bad news is I am a grade 3 TN...so very aggressive.

I am scheduled for my first chemo on May 11th. They will be giving me 4XDDAC followed by 4XT then radiation.

Of course this is all new to me and I have been reading myself into a coma but I still feel unsettled. I think it will all become more bearable once I begin my treatments, meaning the unexpected, the fear and the unknown will reveal itself. The hair thing and the wig thing, wigs me out! lol It's funny, I keep thinking of Britney Spears and when she shaved her head, I keep picturing myself like that, not too bad really. I am tallking myself into that one!

I only wanted to introduce myself and hopefully connect with someone who will be starting treatment when I do. But of course, if anyone has any words of wisdom, I would be thrilled to hear...

I am going for a second opinion, just in case the others missed something...and the oncs know eachother, can't be too thorough, not when it comes to this.
