LIFE'S A BEACH!

Just popping in for a quick stroll on the beach and to say hello. Faith, I too am de-cluttering the nest. They are sending me a housekeeper. I cannot let her see the mess it is in. So far, the kitchen is done (except the floor), the bathroom needs tnt and my room has a lava flow of stuff too.
-
LOL lava flow! I like that one!
-
Thanks so much MaK!! that's perfect!
DREAM DREAM DREAM!!! Did ya ever see the amazing birthday party that we had for you here at the beach??? It was a hum-dinger for sure, even by beach standards.
You'll have to go back several pages.
-
Lava lava, lava, lava. -
Yeah Dream.......we had a great time!! Just in case you missed it......happy birthday again...hehe

-

This is the 'before' picture........
-
This looks like a cozy atmosphere

-
This is a more appropriate picture. More accurate.
My lava flows very slowly. Very very slowly.

-
But Faithie, you know when you have a kazillion things going at one time, this is actually you...

-
Coonie. Did you get that picture of me last week -- when I was running back & forth across the state?? You must have had a zoom lens. LOL.
-
Lava flow is actually pretty neat when you see it up close like that...very cool.
-
What a glorious day, when the weather prediction is for 100% rain and I've been able to get to church and walk amidst pleasant clouds. Wheeeeee oooooooooo.
Hope that everyone is having a lucious day with family and friends: watching an old movie, taking a nap, reading an engaging book, taking a field trip, engaging in retail therapy, getting odd projects accomplished -- whatever makes for a perfect Sunday afternoon in your world.
GO FOR IT!!!
-
I'm gonna drive by this gorgous field, on my way down to the beach this afternoon:

-
I love fields of flowers. Hope all the beachies are having a wonderful Sunday:)

What a great, big, wonderful day.
Capped off by an afternoon & an evening of baby wrangling.
I'm too worn out to type.
LOL.
I hope that everyone's had a glorious day.
-

Good morning Beachettes!
Lisa, amazing picture. Unbelievable beauty.

I hope everyone has a great day at the beach.
-
-
Morning beach bunnies!!
Those fields of flowers are incredible.... Lisa, just amazing what your lens "sees" and I'm always so grateful for your sharing. Are you still coming to OH/reunion?? Isn't that coming up shortly?? I'd be so thrilled to meet you -- if your dance card has any space. I've lost the dates....... let me know.
Today is take three well grandchildren to the doctor and torture each with shots of various types. Never my favorite day as a mommy, just as bad on the grammie front.
Will make it back midafternoon and sure hope to find some beach frolicking. Our dear Footie needs more men and lemonade, gals!!
Hugs to each and all.
Our mini rendez-vous creeps closer, closer!!
-
Thanks Arnie.
Wish we had a third adult in the mix. This is gonna be something today.
Must think 'long haul' and not short term satisfaction, on days like today.
-
Faith...your story reminds me of when my DD was little. I was driving her to the doctor. She asked where we were going. I told her, and she ask me was she getting a shot. (She was about 3). I started crying and said, yes, you're gonna get a shot. She said "don't worry mommy, I'll be ok"......SHE was comforting ME!!!!!!!!!! I felt like a real wimp after that

-
We were at a backyard barbecue on Saturday evening at my nieces'. My grandson Trent got in trouble just before we were leaving and his Dad made him sit on a bench. I went over and gave him a kiss and he said, "Arnie, take me home with you". We got in the car and I had tears in my eyes... (Trent whose now 3 named me "arnie" when he was 14 mos. old)We think it was because his favorite Sesame street character was Ernie...lol
-
That's a cute story. I wondered where Arnie came from. Thought maybe the dog in the pic was Arnie. Your story is cuter!!!
