Will start hyperthermia./rads tx's

I had my appointment today with a new doctor that will be doing only surface treatment of hyperthermia with low dose rads. (My 2^nd time for rads) on my worst IBC for the next four weeks. I really like this doctor. He work's at a small research clinic three days a week and goes to I think it is Maryland two days a week to work with the FDA as a drug investigator of some kind. He said I have too much of a area to treat with rads again so he will only do the worst areas and I would move to a Phase I trail with hyperthermia and Doxil after completing rads.  I hate that it is Phase I and no dose has been set. I will be one of the first in the trial at this clinic. 

I have a new cough and shortness of breath that showed up this week.  He did not feel concerned... but I am.  So I'm back on the phone tomorrow to have some one look into this and see if I just have something non-cancerous (please!) going on or just a the flu.

I just don't know it I should be doing rads again when my skin is not real bad or save this for another time....

This doctor has a usual title...what do you thing it all means. Remember his is overseeing my radiation??

PS For doctor to admit there is a link between thyroid issues and breast cancer. Also VitaminD. He also told me that triple negative bc ladies have a higher chance of getting blood clots??  New too me even though I did have a blood clot after rads in my neck area.
