Hi ladies,

I'm TN and have been sent information from the Cancer Organisation here on Zoladex but even after reading it, I'm not sure exactly what it is and if I will benefit from it being TN?

Can someone let me know if you know what it is?

 Thanks a mil,

 Paulsgirl.

Zoladex is used for Estrogen+ woman to supress their ovaries. Or to decrease their levels of estrogen, it is an infusion. And you are right...since you are TN you would not benefit from it.

Great, thanks for that.  I'll now shred the leaflet.  Smile

Zoladex is also used as a means of shutting the ovaries down during chemo to protect them from permanent damage. It vastly improves your chances of remaining fertile post-chemo.  As far as I know it is still useful for that purpose even if you are TN. It is a monthy injection (at least that is how I have it)
