SoCalLisa...could you find me a fridge with LOTS of diet coke please? I like crushed ice too:) And maybe some of those birds you find on your beaches down there? I remember sitting on the beach in Laguna once and feeding one of those birds CHEETOS! I hope it didn't hurt him. He really liked it though:)

-
The kids went home at 5!! Yeah!! Well all except 1 14 y.o. DH and I left on our motorcycle at 5:01 and took a nice leisurely ride. Now I'm back home and getting dinner ready. I wish I were BBQing at the beach!

Hi beachies!!
WELCOME WELCOME WELCOME!! Arnie.
Thanks so much for posting family pics of the beach. Where are you in MI?? There's such an active MI thread...... I've met up with them a couple of times. Wonderful gals.
Julz. No kidding one of those pics in your last batch was from THE VERY spot that we had breakfast-brunch most mornings on Aruba. It's at Gilligan's Restaurant. I'll have to find mine from that very spot. Small world!!!!
Anyhow. I'm safe and sound. In my little spot for these next two nights. AND they have FREE wireless!!! IN MY ROOM!!!! Sometimes these little chains are so much 'better' than the big, fancy dogs. No room service here -- but they did have freshly baked warm cookies upon my arrival a bit ago. Oh happy day. I declared it a final birthday cookie for you, DREAM.
Sharon. I'm taking it that you had good news today and I'm ecstatic. I'd do a happy jumpin' up and down dance, but I'm pretty well whooped. So I'll just smile from ear-to-ear on your behalf.
At the risk of not sending out a shout out to everyone, I'm gonna pop around here quick and hit the hay. Hugs up and down the shore.
One final hug for you dream.

I've got some errands to do bbl.
Oh man, this is cute.

-
Ohhh!! I LOVE that place Sharon! I could REALLY live there:) Water, green grass.....
Maybe we could build a little walkway to the water....

-
Isn't it perfect Coonie? I think it's in the U.K.
Great walkway.
-
Well last night I photographed a Blooming Art show
where local flower arrangers do their thing with a
painting that is hanging in the museum...kinda neat...

-
Awhhh Lisa....that is so neat! I bet you REALLY enjoyed that!
-
Hi Beachies!!
Arnie. So glad that you've found us. Now ya gotta mark us as 'favorites' so that you can always find your way back to the beach.
I just loved that little cottage & the blue sky.
Reminds me of Toy's amazing little cottage.
You guys on FB -- a teacher sent me a cutie little video that she shot earlier this week in her class for really young kiddos. Anyhow. It's on my profile page @ FB. I gotta figure out how to get it over to my blog????? Sure wish that I had an ounce of techno-capability.
Today was the marathon of marathons. I had a four hour concert. Literally continuous singing from for four hours. It was fun -- but I gotta tell ya I'm exhausted. What comes three levels past exhausted?? That's what I am now!
I don't intend to move until tomorrow's program.
-
Awesome pictures Ladies! I can't wait to get to the real beach. It was 88 here today! I got to go to soccer games. I pretended I was at the beach, though!
-
Faithie and Mak since you gals are tired, you get first pick of the chair you want. We'll all just sit back, listen to your day, drink something cold, and maybe have a little some salty or sweet to eat:)......you should have know I couldn't get by without any food. Or....maybe something nutritious...

Maybe even a slice of watermelon ....

-
Remember when I told you that Julz had posted a pic from EXACTLY where I stood on Aruba???
Here's my shot. Our favorite place for brunch:

-
That's cool Faithie. What type food do they serve? Here I am talking about food again:)...hehe
-
Faith Cool!! Love the picture! There's one like that in Antigua!
Coonie I'll take the pink chair and the watermellon looks delicious! Thanks! Will you be sitting next to me?
-
Here's Gilligan's little boat that got marooned.
This is sitting right next to the mileage sign above.

-
I'll take the purple chair.....do you like looking at magazines? Like Martha Stewart, Southern Living?...
-
Well maybe they have it on every gorgous beach???
I love those chairs, Coonie dearest.
Here's 'my' Aruba chairs:

-
Oh let's just sit and visit.
I don't need any magazines..... not with a view like that.
Just bring some food, Coonie.
-
cool.......I'll take the purple one here too

-

Seriously blue skies. Today and in my memory, too!!
