Honestly I wansn't going to write until tomorrow cause I coudn't do you justice in a rush, but just did want to say, I did think of you all on holiday and send you my "bestest vibes".
Thing is my 1 eye that reads (the other has seriously damaged retina) is quitting on me, cause of all the reading about you all tonight. It's just watering up sooo much I can't realy see well enough to write.

Maybe you'll learn to post pics. We'd love to see 'em
Hey Nana.......it's so good to see you back too!! Sorry you're still not feeling 100%. Hopefully, the doc can change that tomorrow:) Oh, and there's plenty of butlers to go around. I'm sure these gals don't mind sharing:)

Yikes, but I'll grab those two martinis

I want Babeeeez too! They are too sweet, it must make your heart ache
-
Barbe - You should let your daughter get married first, then babeeeeez.
I'm just so not there! I guess I need a few years without kids before I want babys again. My baby is now 10!! WOW!
-
She's getting married in 4 weeks! Wow!
-
Faith they are just too cute!
Nana I'm sorry to hear you are still having to fight with the mrsa. Rotten stuff that it is.
Sharon I'll take some of those nachos!
-
The getting married and then the babeez is a handy order for things to proceed.
I will tell ya that the grandchildren gig is the best deal in town.
We had so much fun today.
I just love when the pips reach out and jabber their baby jabber for "Pick me up, GeeGee."
Makes me wanna nibble on them -- they're so sweet.
-
Sounds fun Faith!
Barb - 9 months and 4 weeks and you could have babeeezzz!!
-
Geez has it been a year already? I remember you had to give up Easter at the White House because the twins did not want to come out and play..... It was the first adventure I followed here. They are B-U-Tful babeez.
If either of my daughters says pregant, I will make them both work in a maternity ward for a month.
I thought this was going to be like people exchanging cleaning tips. Give me a martini instead.
-
My kids keep telling me they are done with the baby making ... so adorable ... I want to hold a baby again, smell one!!!
-
barbe where is your daughter's wedding. Is it in Ont. or is away somewhere hot. My girlfriend is getting married on May 20th in Hawaii.

Thank you for the advice on the "sex" situation of my DS. I forgot who mentioned about the catholic schools & wearing uniforms, but I too did the catholic school thing and also rolled my waistband so the hem was higher! :0
I have talked to both of the mom's of the girls involved. Of course it is all my fault & DS's fault for the sex happening! Like I was there cheering them on! Basically I agreed that at their age being active is not necessary! At this point it's done & over - no going back. I have told DS & the mom's that neither girl is welcome in our home again. I want no part of more teenage GF/BF drama.
Added to that the rest of my day consisted of driving into the city to see my Dad in the hospital. Quick story: his is four years out from throat cancer remission. This morning he went to onc dr. His neck was leaking a yellow gook near the area that had the radiation. Basically the whole left side of his neck is very thin skin caved in & scarred from the incision & rads. We are very worried that the cancer has come back. As of today they did blood work & CAT scan w/ contrast. No results yet! More tests scheduled tomorrow. During the whole drive all I kept thinking was "Please do not let him be sick now, I am barely holding myself together!" My dad & I have a very close relationship. When him & my mom divorced years & years ago and I ended up living with him. He is like my best friend, I talk to him everyday.
If you can please say an extra prayer for my Dad and send healthy vibes our way! Sorry to be a downer - I am just out of my mind with worry over him.
Gentle hugs
p.s. No housework was done today!
-
2new1s I will keep your dad in my thoughts and pray for clear results
(((((HUGS)))))

Good morning everyone. Hugs and prayers for you and Dad, 2new1s. Hugs for everyone else. I am off to see onco and Herceptin today. Tomorrow they might have my second replacement window - the guy broke the new one when he was installing it and they had to order another. He caulked it so no cold or hot air is coming in, but...
Sweet sweet babies - my son and dil are waiting a while, BUT dil sister is due in August and will be back in this area in September. Does that make me a grandma, once removed or a grandma in law? Dil parents and I call each other "out laws" since we are not "in laws".
Coffee is done, time for a shower. Have a great day. Nancy
-
2new1s, it never rains, it pours. I hope the news about your Dad is good. I'll do a little extra housework and bank some for whoever needs to withdraw.
Good luck today to those having surgery. Big hugs for everyone.
Here Dream, have a martini.
-
Well Ladies, I made it thru it...and they did numb me for the wire localization...she did the lumpectomy, said she removed like a spot around the size of a quarter to a half dollar, but she did it under my breast and said I would only have a slight dent...(Course they said after Chemo when I got my catscan that I had a 100% response and there was no cancer showing) took my port out, and removed 5 nodes...one of them they froze and said it was clean, whatever freezing does...sent the others and the tissue from lumpectomy out to a lab, should know something today or tomorrow.. Breast doesn't hurt at all, underarm hurts a bit, but man where they took the port out is killing me...Vicodeine helps. And of course I have a drain, ugh! (For the nodes) She tried to give me percocet, but they make me sick. SO GLAD THIS IS DONE...now to wait for radiation.
-
Hey Deb, what a relief to have that behind you. Another step done!! No housework for you today! Gentle hugs.
-
2new1s... Prayers going up for your dad...
LMDucan & Seltzer...(((((((((((hugs)))))))))) hope your surgeries go well today...

Hope everyone else has a blessed day...like the kittie in the top of the pic...I'm back off to bed...
-
Welcome back Deb, no cleaning for you! I'd do some in your name, but my one thing is going back to work!
2new1s, got him in my prayers. Locked and loaded. Give us the all-clear when you get the good news.
