SPAR. Dear one. You have brought so much beauty to this Mountain.
I feel remorseful for deleting my posts from the first pages when all the *.*.* well you know . . .
was happening. I wish I had just replaced my posts with beautiful pictures.
Earth Day tomorrow. Our Earth. With out it we would just be little specks of floating dust
bumping into this and that. I remember how happy Earth Day was last year.
SIERRA. I can't tell you how nice it is to see your posts. I remember you from when
I first joined here and was so scared.
Your posts are always so very soothing and I thank you !
We are in a major heat spell here in the land of CA. and so all the flowers are bursting
in blooms. Soooooo.
This morning before heading out to the Bay I cut some yellow roses that smell like candy.
The bees are dancing in the red scarlet what ever it is. I love seeing the bees.
I love this thread. I'm just chilling after a beautiful day, blue waters, and listening to one of
my favorite singers.
The wild roses above jump right out of the page in clarity and beauty.
Thinking of you Jazzy jazz. Celia. Dear Celia. Janny. I hope your knee is behaving itself.
Loves and trail walks on this serene mountain.

so very good of you to join me on the mountain today. What a pleasure. It got up to 80 here and i thought it was a heat wave, dread the triple digits but know they will happen. We have a tree that is full of bees, we learned when we first moved here not to bother it. DH was trimming branches and they swarmed him, got stung 7 or 8 times through his shirt until he could get inside. Now we respect them and they leave us alone. I know we need them to pollinate everything.
Tomorrow maybe we can take a hike together and see what all we can find. hugs.
-
Yes. A hike tomorrow. I'll meet you on the trail. I'll pack my back pack full of good stuff.

Hello mountain, the weather is beautiful, the flowers are smelling so good. Would love to take a hike and find some fresh berries.
I found a wild strawberry but not exactly what I had in mind. Better hit the trails
-
This is part of where we are hiking today, hope to find the creek and waterfalls soon.
We are just going to follow the creek. Have been seeing lots of rabbits and squirrls. Am hunting some unique shaped wood to make a wind chime or some bamboo to take home.
We passed this really nice little water falls, continueing on down the creek looking for a good fishing place and picnic placeWe found it the perfect fishing hole, great place to swim and have a great picnic. Would love to go looking for wild flowers and birds later. Am going to lay back on my blanket and watch the clouds and see the shapes for right now. -
I am all rested up but am getting hungry. I wonder what time my friend is going to meet me on the trail. I think I will take a nap until then.
-
I want 2 B under those waterfalls right now!

A day late to the hike. We had a most major * fun celebration of
Earth Day out at the Bay.
There were a ton of people driving up the coast for a Wednesday.
Cooler temps and sunshine
plus today's festivities are I'm sure what brought out the people.
I missed our hike but will wander on to the trail hopefully tomorrow.
We are fogged in tonight. Glorious fog.
We have the foothills all green with life and
leaping baby lambs all over the hillsides.
Green and rebirth plus a little fog to cool things
down is so beautiful.
Deborye. Your photos are superfanfabulous especially the
purple and white flowers.
SPAR. The waterfalls are amazing but that is one scary berry !
Hi SIERRA. Sending you happy CA. vibes.
Wishing everyone a spectacular evening on the mountain.
Mountain Hens and Chicks.
-
Sahalie, the mountain hens and chicks really brought back memories, my grandmother always had those in pots while I was growing up. So glad you got to visit the mountain for a bit. I remember how you always love fog.
Deb, you are so welcome to the mountain. Your pictures are wonderful. that one looks so frozen it made me have a chill for a moment, which is so much better than a hot flash. LOL If I did tha climb I would have to have one of those machines to ride also.
very nice pictures Lisa. I want to wade right into that stream.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
-
Good Morning!
SPAR. I'm pretty sure the colorful fish above are in an aquarium.
I too love hens and chickens. We have them on our ranch and they take drought very well.
Cooler temps today on the mountain just the way I like it.
I'm sure the sun will be out later but we all know how fast the weather can change in the mountains.
Bike ride today thru the mountain anyone.
Edited to add more Lavender
-
I would love a bike ride through the mountains and see the gorgous flowers.
Here is a good flat trail that seems like an easy pretty ride.
Wow, look what we passed, you never know what you will see.
We are passing flowers that I don't know what are
We came upon a wild blackberry patch but they weren't all the way ripe yet so will have to come back. What a wonderful day of bike riding. I am now ready for some lunch.
-
there you have it.
-
LUNCH TIME *
Here in the west coast mountains anyway.
The Picknickle Baskets are open for your refreshing mountainside break.
Friends and food. Good times.
