Happy Easter Sunday beachettes.

) bright and sunny. Happy day everyone. -
Good Morning ALL Beachettes from A to Zzzz's & In Between's
Have a Blessed

Sharon Opps one came back in with a wave.....

I saw it before you did!!! LOL!
! -
Hahaha, good one Julz. There doesn't seem to be a lot of eggs on the beach.
Oh, I stand corrected but I think we're a little late for this one.
Julz, you can have that one too.

-
The sun is out.
The tomb is empty.
The trumpets resound.
The Hallelujahs are sung.
The hugs are extended.
The bread is broken.
The eggs are retrieved.
The pictures are taken.
May this day of glory live in our hearts.
May this day of astonishment color our actions.
May this day of promise give us peace.
May this day of joy give us encouragement.
Beach hugs to all of the Beach-Bunnies, past and present, present and future.
May there be Beach-Bunnies walking this beach, splashing nonsense & support for seasons to come. May all feel welcome and encouraged here -- sharing what they are able, offering of themselves to those in need.
Happy Easter.

Happy Easter to all.

Gigantic, enormous hugs-of-LUV!!!
What a way to end an Easter celebration. So good to see your smiling poochie!
-
Good morning Beachettes. Wishing all a glorious day at the beach.

-
Sunshine and sand to one and all.
I let the waves lull me into a yummy sleep last night.
Now to get movin' and get some work done.
Have the lovliest of beachie-days, my beach bunnies.

Hi Mary-Lou and Spar.
Not to worry.
These guys will keep us safe.
Edit to add.
LOLOL, well so much for that. They were cute but I got the big red X. Heck, just stay away from the jellyfish.
-
-
-
drat that red x...... i can only imagine what we missed.
thanks for taking good care of us, Sharon.
i'll never forget the time that i was stung by a jellyfish.... we were swimming in the Atlantic, the beach was crowded with throngs of people & i was having the best time with my brothers -- when ZAP!! at the time, i had no idea what had happened. no kidding, the very handsome, hunky lifeguard came to my rescue.
it had wrapped a tenicle (sp??) round my leg, just above the knee -- and you could see exactly where i was 'stung'...... gosh, this was back when i was in eighth grade & i remember that sting like it was yesterday. i guess junior high amplifies ones memories?? i've never had quite the same joy & sense of abandon in the ocean since then.
the strangest thing was that DD2 was also stung by an errant jelly when she was just about the same age.... that time we were in FL. so she & i have that experience as a common denominator, as well.
-
Oh Faith.........I got my revenge as a kid. When the jellyfish got washed up on shore after high tide we used to walk the beach and turn 'em over to bake in the sun. Ewwww........how unfeeling of us. Jellyfish gotta live too ya know. But as kids.........well............and you know what? I never got stung once. When there are no waves there isn't usually any jellyfish.

Mary Lou, it's great to see ya splashing, whatever your mood: cats, dogs, rabbits.... they're all most welcome.
Your cats are so cute.... and they're the kind I can handle -- those with actual hair make me sneeze. I was quite the sneezer growing up & visiting grandparents farm, as they had whole communities of cats, out in the barns.
Hope all is unfolding well in your corner of the world.

Here's a picture of our recent visit in Annapolis.
DD2's guy, Z, says this little strip of real estate is called, "Ego Alley" as there are some pretty pricey boats moored along this very public strip. It was a gorgous evening & we had such a great time together. Seems like eons ago, already:

-
And here's the actual beach-front out DD2's front door. They live right on the water, complete with their own pier. They live in something that I would describe as three steps up from a shack, but not quite cottage status. What word lies in between? I have yet to see the sunset there, as we're always out & about & coming home after dark.
What fun to watch the ducks & geese cavorting, but you all know I'm easily entertained.

-
Goooood morning Beachettes.
Great real life pics Faith. I love the sail boat pic.
Mary-Lou, I get your drift
. (Ocean? Drift? hahahah, and that wasn't even intentional.)I rented this beach house. Hows that for "water front".

-
Sharon, I'm gonna join you for your rental. When does it start?? I could get there by this afternoon. I'm clicking my heels -- right now, maybe I can make it by lunchtime!!
