I didn't realize it snowed in Florida. Are you not supposed to be a hot state???
Lori
-
Well Lori, it is a warm state for the most part -and thats a old picture. But it feels cold enough to snow, this is very strange for April. The worst part is the non-stop winds, thats what is making it really cold, my poor 3 puond Margo is blowing away when I take her to potty, and she gives me a look like "WHAT ARE YOU NUTS" She has been snuggled in her big fluffy blanket all day.
-
1cathi ~ post a pic of your Margo! I love tiny dogs. We are currently contemplating on what kind to get. Dh used to have a Miniature Pincher and loved him. I am just wanting something tiny for DD.
-
Global warming my ass! They were wrong again!
2new1s, you are going to be too busy "doing it" to watch as small dog....
-

Happy Hump Day - Dishes are done, bed is made, off to the vet in an hour then to GYN with my daughter this afternoon. Our blustry wind has stopped -YEAH, but a chilly chilly start this AM only 45 degrees. T/T yeah all later.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXO -Cathi
-
Hey Cathi- You have us beat- Our High today of 42 will be lower then your start- LOL
Hope You get good news at the Gyn today.
Deb- You Banked alot yesterday. I have pain pills ...Im not up to moving any Major Appliances!
Foots- Sounds like you Banked alot yesterday too!
Barbe- Forgot to say Yesterday I love your New Avatar.
I actually finished 2 loads of Laundry yesterday- That means folded & put away too!

Pam
-
Hi Ladies,
Cathi - best of luck today at the doctors.
Pam - it's about 40 here today. When is spring going to get here??????
Foot - now you need to explain to us about the breathing? I'm with Barbe, I can do that!!
I just got back from Walmart and got all my cleaning bargains. Now I have to use them. I did get two loads of laundry done this morning while I was getting the kids ready for school. Got to jump on my treadmill for awhile too. It's just too miserable to walk outside. Someone needs to send us some more sunshine!
-
Morning or should I say afternoon to all. I decided to actually do some work first then post, since it seemed like I was doing more talking than working lately
Got a couple of loads of laundry going and some more closet cleaning out for that yard sale. Can see the floor of my bedroom again!
Cathi praying for you and dd today.
Linda think we are suppose to get out of the deep freeze today so I imagine some of that warmth will be heading your way tomorrow or the next day too.
Pam I have a couple of loads folded but still have to find them their homes. Looks like if they can send a man to the moon they could invent clothes that clean and put themselves away already!
Coonie are you taking a laptop with you so you can take us on your trip?
Deb still hoping you can stop those cigarettes so your lungs will be in good shape for the surgery now that you know the date.
Debbie hope the swelling is better today in your arms, sounds like you don't let the lymphedema slow you down too much.
Barbe I agree about the new avatar, its a nice pic.
Lori good to see you on here too.
Hey I never noticed the number of posts we made being under our avatars. Is that new?
-
hey Barbe I am in the same boat as you....a ton of dishes because I didn't do them yesterday. I guess that is my job for the day. And I can breathe too, can I come.
Cathi - Pam - Linda - I think your weather is here. We were 20 yesterday which is 68 fahrenheit. It is supposed to rain today though.
Well off to do dishes
Lori
-
Dishes got done. Been at work putting out fires........
-
Lori - send the 68 degrees my way!!\Barbe - I think putting out fires at work counts as bankable. I think I just made that word up. You know what I mean.
I just vacuumed. Now going to get my sorry butt on the treadmill. I love all my extra Tamoxiweight. Another new word for me!
-
There is definitely something wrong with that picture - palm trees in snow!
-
Hi all,
Boy, busy days with the kids off school.
Am trying to keep up with the de cluttering and managed 2 boxes of toys and books today, keeping on top of the kitchen and feeding the kids at the garden table to keep the kitchen tidy between meals! Feeling whooooped today.
Coonie! I just noticed you are from Louisiana! I love that accent, lucky you.
Makraz, ohhh, you have a Walmart near you, lucky girl,we are sooo needing one here. We have TK Max but, sigh, maybe one day..
Mum2two! You deserve one of your own special "sparkling" well done messages all lit up for your full on de -cluttering, pre sale, simplifying excercise! You have inspired me to keep sorting and clearing each and every room of unnesesairy stuff. It sure does make everything else easier.
To all of you who got snow, hope it is melting away and feeding your daffodils. Can't really see the Easter bunny hopping through the white stuff with his basket and snow shoes, just woudn't be right would it?!
ps: I can't use the spell check on here anymore, don't know why, anyone else have that problem?
Take care, Shiny
-
mum2two, To answer your question: Yes, well, since I have been "on" these boards, my posts have been counted up under my board name.
xx Shiny
-
Hey everybody! Just getting in from work again, so no housework AGAIN today!!! Will probably wash a load of laundry before bedtime though.
Hey Mom....I will take my laptop on vacation, but I'm not so sure about the internet service. We will be kinda out in the boondocks (hehe), so I don't know if there will be any service. I'm bringing it just in case though.
So good to see all of your posts. I need to catch up on my reading.
((((((((((((big hugs to everybody)))))))))))))
-
Shiny - I think it's funny that you desire a Walmart!! What can I get for you??? I used to work for a UK based company. The people in the UK office used to have the US office send over marshmellow fluff. I thought that was really funny. Apparently you can't get fluff in the UK! Who knew!
Have a GREAT vacation Coonie! We'll miss you while your in the boondocks! Actually any kind of docks sound great to me!
-
Thanks Shiny, I'm thinking eventually the little by little approach to de cluttering the house will pay off with more time for the hubby and kids and make housework a manageable chore that takes only a few hours a week and not the day in day out toll that it does right now.
As for today my room is back in reasonable order and the extras are getting stacked in a corner downstairs for that yard sale.
Funny but I never noticed the post points before but it looks like Footprints and Coonie win!
Here's a little something for the both of you. Speech please ladies!
-
Hi there, I have done no actual housework today. Had an awfully long day. Direct TV was here all day installing our new cable. It was very difficult to keep DD occupied all day while the cable guy worked on the wiring! All was a success and So I am currently watching American Idol on our new cable. Looks like Anoop might be going home tonight.
-
I did my dishes today and cleaned out the garden. My flowers are trying to come up through last years leaves, I figured I had better move them.
Lori
-
Good job Lori, I was cleaning bathroom and getting out grabage today, My herbs are coming up too and I love to work in yard when I can. God bless you all. Debbie
-
Gee, the snow hasn't melted enough to see if anything is stupid enough to come up yet....
-
LOL Barbe
We finally have no snow on the ground. Not a peak of a Spring bulb still (they must be smart)
I really didnt do much yesterday. Another load of laundry. I sorted 2 boxes of fabric.
Thats about it.
Mom I need to start planning my Garage sale too & seperating & pricing...I have no idea when I will want to have the sale though...Really May is best here. But have dd graduation party in early June ( I think- Not sure on that either) So just cant figure out dates I guess. LOL
Pam
-
My bulbs started to come up about a month ago. They are only about 2 inches out of the soil. They haven't moved in the past month. I think they want to go back down into the soil where it's warm!
I'm hoping today is the day my power cord comes in the mail for my laptop. I can't stand using the kids PC, but am very thankful they have one. DH says I'm addicted to you all, he's right!
Just put a load of laundry in and cleaned the kitchen after the kids had breakfast. No school tomorrow so I need to get a lot done today.
Good morning to you all!
