I wonder if your hair will do better once off Herceptin! Glad the Biotin seems to be working. My nails are really tough too...

My last Chemo treatment was January 7th.
About a month ago I was so excited because I noticed my reading glasses no longer slide down when I rest them on top of my head....a sure sign of hair growing.......
Well, I have a new one.....this morning when I woke up, I went to wash my face and when I glanced in the mirror.....
I had "bed hair" Yeah!

I love your post. I am a HS teacher too and my seniors bought me a special scarf for graduation when I mentioned I might not attend. The kids keep me going.

"The kids keep me going"
I totally understand, I have been working in a Montessori Preschool/Kindergarten classroom for 20 years (August being 21 years)
I love my work....I get paid to play!

I can relate to the "bed hair" ! I actually woke up today and my "cow lick" was standing up straight. A good sign, for sure. In fact, I may have to trim the stragglers that are hanging over my ears. I can't believe I used to be a "dirty blond" but now it is salt and pepper! Still hoping for some curls!

Ladies I cut the fuzz off it was like being a 3 year old and I got the scissors away from mommy and I swear the hair is growing faster just a week later dont think I will make it wigless by 5-22 graduation for my baby son he hates that but I will be there and who knows maybe I will say the hell with the wig and let it go by then. It is also trying to curl up and I will never have a bad hair day again I promise that....and the arm is coming along great with my pump I look like I am normal just a little swelling there is hope out there for us to feel norm again and enjoy your bed hair nelia48.....
