Good morning, SloneRangers.
I'm in the midst of re-packing to depart for Alabama later this morning. I'll be flying thru the heavens and on the lookout for our dearest SloneDeb -- having her first welcome to heaven orientation.
Kbug, I know how close the two of you were and I'm sure that our loss of SloneDeb must be hitting you with an enormous weight. She would want you to celebrate her safe heavenly arrival, for sure. What glory lies ahead.
So today I'm sending my prayers to Kbug and the rest of our extended circle, in search of comfort, encouragement and friendship.
Take good care of yourselves, SloneRangers..... there's much work to be done.

Thinking of you this morning Deb. I am sure you are at peace and with our Angels. May your family have strength during this difficult time, as may our Slonerangers. I'll always let the campfire of our friendships spread it's light within me.Tender

What a beautiful picture,Kathleen!! I have slonedeb on my mind. I sent her family a card. I always sent her something every few months. I will miss doing that.
Kbug and fellow slonerangers...have a good day.

Ladies I am so sorry for your great loss of SloneDeb she seemed like a fighter and gave it her best I think its remarkable how in this site you can feel the closeness we cannot share with our best friends who are physically next to us, no wonder we all do so well and fight and fight and have a good attitude like Deb. I celebrated my first year since surgery yesterday the 7th my last Herceptin is the 21st and last memorial weekend I broke down in the store and a lady gave me this site and I thank god for it and all the support we have here every day I log on to it. Please if someone can list the address for Deb's family I would like to write a note to them...
Thank you and we will think of all of our friends and family this spring that we have lost from this disease as each flower comes back to us....

Maura. Thank you for joining our SloneRanger Sisterhood.
We have 'informally' decided to continue posting support to one another -- and prayers for those that we learn are in need.
Kbug, I'm thinking especially of you tonight. Know that we are all sending prayers of support and encouragement your way.
Tender how wonderful that you started this special place, where we can keep shining the light from one to another, into the dark places.
(((((((((((((((((((((((((SloneRangers))))))))))))))))))))))
Slone family, I send you my heart felt sympathy as you begin to move forward, without your center hub.

Faith thank you for the prayers. I just feel kinda lost now. I feel close to Deb here. We are and always will be Sloane Rangers. Deb was our leader and we can always remember she was a good role model. Now she is a beautiful angel. God bless us all.
-
Blessings, indeed.
Kbug, it's a bit like sailing without an anchor...... or would it be the rudder?
So we will continue together, because I know that what SloneDeb would have wanted.
Today's prayers are for Kbug and SloneDeb's family, in the midst of our loss.
Heaven rejoices.

Hey, Kbug. Just wanted to check in and let you know that I'm thinking of you today, Good Friday and will continue to send up prayers through out the weekend.
The church bells are tolling in the distance as I type.
To be totally human and completely divine.
Today we focus on the totally human part.
That is the part that allows us to recognize the suffering of others and to enter into their story, in an effort to hold one another up. I pray that your day is filled with peaceful reflection and thanksgiving for the sacrifice made on our behalf.

He is Risen. He is Risen, Indeed!
SloneRangers, Kbug and dear SloneFamily..... today is a day of rejoicing and trumpets, lillies and an empty tomb. The tomb could not hold our Savior.
So we are indeed a Resurrection people. A people of promise. A people of hope.
We have a room prepared in Heaven...... and so our dear SloneDeb sister, is there now, visiting with her own family members who've proceeded her. Laughing and learning from our dear BC sisters who've gained their wings so recently. And we rejoice.
We rejoice that wholeness has won the day and that she laughs and dances, skipping with glee.
We rejoice that wellness was won the day.
We rejoice.
We learn to accept the timing of our SloneDeb's departure as divine -- trusting that all things work together for good, for those who love Him, who are called in agreement with his purpose.
SloneDeb taught us much. She continued to be concerned about her sisters here, even at the end when her spirit's energy was compromised by her body. She kept her faith shining for one and all to see. She asked for our prayers to strengthen her faith and we gladly prayed.
May we remember her lessons. May we celebrate her example. May we offer encouragement in her name.

Happy Easter.
Have a piece of your favorite candy, I think Deb would be happy to see us happy today.

Good day SloneRangers.
Good day Kbug.
Thinking of all who may need some encouragement in the midst of the journey.
Sending out love to one and all.

I spoke with my dear brother he lives out easet and he made me feel better about the time we go to our resting he said there is no pain at all we all get new bodies after we have been in heaven for a while and we are all reunited with our family and friends loved ones and not so loved ones becasue there is no fighting no hunger no jealousy its all peaceful no pain. I am catholic and we believe in purgurtory tht is a peaceful place we go before heaven to learn from out mistakes on earth but it is a peaceful place and we stay there until we hve earned our way to heaven. Not sure if this will help anyone that is morning Deb Slone we all know she went straight to heaven for all the suffering seh has done here on earth so I found it comforting and hope this might help somene just wanted to share....
-
Thanks enjoylife, for sharing your thoughts. I'm sure they will provide comfort to someone reading along. This thread is a tribute to a mighty special woman.
KBug. Thinking of you this morning and sending out prayers for your well-being. How are you doing these days? Anything that you want to share will make my prayers more specific.

It takes a while for my feeble brain to "kick in" so to speak. When I come here I still anticipate there might be a post from Slonedeb.

Hugs SloneRangers.
