Any Her2/Neu Starting Chemo in October?

Blue, Neupagen was awful for me. I kept telling the nurse how hard it was on me and she would tell me what I was experiencing was from chemo. Well, the doctor wanted to try Neulasta since the Neupagen wasn't working all that well for me. The SE went away when I got Neulasta. Of course my out of pocket for it is 800$. Honestly, it is worth every penny for me. Of course my husband might be thinking differently but he doesn't have to go through this.
Strong, I also have a dang chest cold. I am feeling pretty crummy. I know what you mean about no Santa, I did a lot of my shopping for my little ones on line, which really helped. Hope your cold gets better.

Wish me luck... I have my 6th and final TCH today. Happy holidays everyone.

klfh- Congrats on finishing.Good timing, you'll be flying high for Christmas. I have my first H only this Fri. We leave for Fl immediately after so I hope I really don't have an SE's from the H alone.

Thanks plakatakr. I'm pretty wiped out from TCH then holidays. TCHH?? LOL. It hasn't really sunk in yet. Let me know how the first H only goes. I have my first one 1/14.

I just had Tx #4 today. So far I am VERY tired and kind of woosy? I asked them to give me extra fluids this time and they loaded me up. The extra fluids seemed to make a big difference in my bounce back from the last Tx. Hoping and praying for the same result this time.
My warmest wishes to all of you for a very happy, HEALTHY and blessed New Year.
Love,
Anne

Wooohooooo! I just had my last TCH yesterday. I will now be on Herceptin and Avastin till the end of Sept. I am so excited to be done with TCH!! I can tell this last treatment is going to be a rough one. I usually don't start feeling bad until about 48 hours after tx but I am already feeling it.
Hope everyone is getting through their tx's okay.
Take care.

Angie: Congrats on your last treatment, I am so happy for you! I am done with TCH as well and it is nice to see someone else that did TCH node pos like me. I have to tell you the last one is a bit of a kicker, lasts a bit longer, but then back to normal again. I just started rads on Tues, so far so good, I hope it stays that way! Good luck! Lauren

I've been in the radiation area, having started that last week. I'm a week in and have 5 1/2 more to go. Then just Herceptin until mid December. I hope everyone is doing well now. I found radiation treatment scary, I don't know why. But I find I'm not alone either. I had the horrible cold or whatever, and haven't stopped coughing since. But I'm beginning to get out and exercise more.
My fingers and fingernails are the worst now, I suppose, and feeling out of breath. My hair growing in is so awful I want to shave it off, and I still don't have eyelashes. But that is pretty minor stuff.
