Slonedeb, what a courageous soldier you were in riding your storm. Now your storm has passed and you are basking in His Glorious Light!
DH, children and grandchildren, may you feel God's comfort and warmth during this time. Keep close to your hearts the precious times of laughter and love that you all shared together.

Tender,
Thank you for posting about Deb. I have followed some of the posts by Deb and know that she had a tremendous faith in God. She is in God's kingdom now. For those who knew her (the Slone Rangers), may God give you peace and comfort. Prayers for Deb's husband and family.

Dear Jacky, Slone kids and dearest grandkids.
I met your wife/mom over two years ago, on one of the very first occaisions when I 'found' BCO and was in the chatroom. Your dear wife's entries caught my eye, as I'm another Deb. I was scared and frightened and didn't know a thing about BC. She was filled with calm and caring and reassurance. She welcomed me and held my hand across the space between us. We struck up a "Deb friendship" in that first year of chatting. She was always filled with faith.
When I then converted my time here from the chatroom to the boards I discovered our mutual friend Tender had launched a thread for our dear SloneDeb, under the prayer section of this site. It has been my great pleasure to offer prayers here and join in the commraderie of a very caring group of gals who were subsequently dubbed, "SloneRangers."
I've known in my heart for some time that your dear wife was growing weaker and was preparing for her journey home to heaven. Reading here this morning with my eyes & head is a whole different phenomena. My words are sticking to my fingers and I am at a loss as to what to say.
The wonderful thing is that we/Deb and all of us, SloneRangers often spoke of heaven and beyond our trials here on this planet...... so I know that your wife and mother rests calmly today -- whole, healed and perfect. That is a blessing to us all. She made us many promises and I know that she has earned her wings and will be pestering the heavenly powers for continued progress and ultimately a cure for this disease. She told us often that she would watch over us from heaven.
So Slonedeb, I'm gonna count on those promises. I'm gonna count on your supervision as I go about my travels. I'm gonna sing & dance knowing that you're sending blessings to your entire family -- those who knew & loved you in your Kentucky hills and your entire BCO family here, too. You were a woman of your word, dearest Deb.
We counted on your updates, thru out the storms that you rode, to be heartfelt, honest and full of promise. You were consistent and true to the end. A testimony deserving of commemoration.
Know that we will remember you. We will remember your friendship, the love that you shared with us for your dear husband, Jacky and the great love that you had for your children.
I will continue to send up prayers for your family, now in the immediacy of our loss and into the future -- as that's a promise I'd given you.

Another wholesome and shared passage by FaithandFifty today. She speaks so clearly what is felt regarding SloneDeb by all of us.
My heart is grieving, yet my eyes and soul are lifted heavenly. Deb worked for this entry to the heavens, never gave up her faith, and always embodied motherly love and fellowship to all here on bc.org as well as to her Slonerangers.
Angels don't cry, just we humans. But cry I do at your passage from this horrid disease, breast cancer.

My deepest condolences to Deb's family. Her long and very difficult fight is finally over and she has found the peace she truely deserves. It saddens me how much this courageous lady suffered while she was concerned and praying for her fellow bc sisters. Deb - may peace be with you.

My prayers will continue for Deb's soul and for her loving husband, children and grandchildren. I first met Deb in the chat room when I first became a member here. What support she always gave me and everyone in the chat room. Always putting everyone else before herself. I will miss you Deb...but you will always be in my heart.
May eternal light shine upon you,Deb. May you rest in peace.

I wholeheartedly agree with the sentiments of FaithandFifty, I look forward to meeting our dear Deb in heaven. I am thankful she is completely healed and pain free now. It has been my blessing to be there with the other dear sisters as she rode out her final storm.
