Hi can I join, I brought donuts???
I have spent the last (I lost count) days reading from the first post. You ladies are a blast. But I do have to say that you have inspired me to finish my bathroom. Yesterday I mudded the drywall to get ready to paint. DH and I started about 4 years ago then he got hurt at work and we never finished. But my goal is to get it done. And you all have inspired me to do it.

For the tea party.
-
Can you tell I'm dieting?
-
Wow Lori, good for you. To be honest.........some here actually do regular housework but I'm not one of them.
-
Well to be honest I would rather do anything but housework.....because really if you think about it, it is wasted time that I cannot get back. As soon as you do any housework then five, ten, maybe even thirty minutes later someone has mess it all up. And it isn't even noticeable that it was done. So WHY do it??? But I must admit I do some, but with much reluctance.

I learned about another house cleaning service today while I was in Chemo. It is called Red Devils and is offered by Merry Maids for free to cancer patients
I am excited I may have a clean house for once in the last past 6 months:)
-
Lori and Sharon are my two new best friends!! Thanks for the goodies! They look sooooo good! I
Good to hear from you Cathi - still keeping you and Jacky in my prayers.
-
The snow made me late for work by 1/2 hour. 1 1/2 hours to drive in total! Was frustrated cause I'm NEVER late. When I went to put my lunch in the fridge, I noticed someone had bought Cinnabons!!!!!!! I put a ton of icing on one and ate it with relisth! I LOVE them!!!!!!!!!!! Then when I was leaving the lunch room someone looked at me weird. I said I just had sex with a cinnamon bun and everyone cracked up. I had icing all around my mouth that I didn't know about cause I took such big bites.
Glad I was able to give everyone a laugh today.
-
Linda.........for good food........I'd do anything too.
I do love having a clean house.......and once in a while I go through the place like a hurricane. And then a few days later..........it could all be done again. I suppose basically I am a lazy slob.
After sx a good friend came over and helped me get on top of things when I was overwhelmed. It was such a psychological boost for me. What a gift to give.
-
Barbe, your sense of humour always seems close at hand. That is a pretty good one!!!! Was it good for you? Hahahaha.
Edit to add..........I found these for our tea party. Now Barbe will come right Barbe?
-
Oh Barbe ~ I LOVE THAT STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I'm not going to respond to your last sentence Sharon
ehheehehehehe
T'was good for me!
-
Barbe _ I had the same thought but stayed away from that comment!!!!!!!!!!
-
Well ladies. I guess Barbe and 2new1s are coming to the tea party. QUICK!!!!!!!!!!! Hide your buns
Edit to add...............OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to apologize. I'm a tad slow on the uptake. I just GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO.
-
As Kelly would say: BBWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA
-
-
LOLOL, should I edit above???? It sure does call for a 'Kelly' laugh.
-
I'm the one who gets told a joke one day, wakes up in the middle of the night and starts giggling 'cause I finally 'get it'. And sometimes I don't even have that 'middle of the night' revelation.
-
-
M'I bad?
Nice buns Sharon......hehehehehehehe
-
It must be the long Canadian winters.
-
Cabin fever.........
-
barbe.. I feel your pain!
-
Gosh Girls, I don't know if it down to reading about all your SWEET food but, I have just raided the kid's treat cupboard and had a big chunk of "terry's chocolate orange"! And it sure didn't taste nearly as good, as I expect Barbe's cinnabons were. They have sooo much more naughty "snacks" varieties in America/Canada then here. I'd be in soooo much more trouble if I lived there!
Right, I am going to have to do some serious stair vaccuming and what ever else I can think off tomorrow! Maybe i'll actually play "chasse" and hide and seek with the kids too!
Coonie, ohhhh THANK YOU" for going to Walmart" just for me, ahhhh, it's a tuff job but someone has to do it! Now what bargains did "we" get our hands on? Do tell! (My mom lives 5 minutes from a Walmart in Canada but she HATES shopping!) aghh...
I am off to bed (22:30 here) .Dear I "know" I need to loose some weight, about 40 pounds..why do I forget to behave with food when I am tired. You'd think that would be an easier challenge then chemo, but I think I was better at that then the loosing weight thing..never mind "tomorrow is another day, and I am gratefull to have it, so I'll be good tomorrow".
Mom2two, I wonder since you started this super chronicle, if one day, you'll get to publish it? hihi
Sending you all my bestest vibes and wishing you a peachy "rest of your Monday"
Sorry, about my icke moan about food, slap, slap to moi!
Take care! Shiny
-
Uggggh I got called away right in the middle of my tea party and now hubby is home so will have to wait till later to play! You all are just too funny. So good to see Cathi back on, even if it was just for a second.
I don't know about the publishing thing shiny, we gals might take up a library or two with all our posts
