Maybe it wont happen as much. Enjoying the sunny weather and I found out today
2new1s that a waitress at where I go in the morning ask for the day off on the Relay

Good Sunday afternoon ladies. Hope all of you are having a great weekend!! Sounds like a lot of good cooking is going on.
Hey Shiny and Kak....good to see you stopped by.
Lovvinmomma and Nancy too.....and always good to see Kathleen, Makraz, EWB, Stacy and Deb-from-Ohio
Wendy, it lookslike you have some good memories from your past on Sunday lunches. Are you going to Florida for pleasure or business or medical. I sure hope it's pleasure!!!
Pinky...good luck with your test on Organizational Management. Go get that "A"
Denise...you're stirring up my good ole comfort food sausage w/gravy, biscuits, mashed potatoes, yummmo......I can smell it now. Maybe if I just smell and don't taste, I can keep my weight down.
Barbe----still loving your avatar.... but, I wouldn't mind joining in with you and DH for that pizza. I love pizza too. Well, really, there's not much that I DON'T like ...hehe
Footie I'm so thankful mom was able to help you out of that nail situation. It sounds like you had quite a mess there. Be careful and don't step on one, or you will be going back to the hospital sooner than you thought.
Mom...Happy Palm Sunday to you too....our 3-4 year olds took turns riding a tricycle through the middle of the kids and everyone was waving branches singing, "Hosanna Hosanna" They loved it. Of course, the tricycle was the donkey
hehe they had a ball doing it. Good memories for them. I can't believe next Sunday is already Easter.
2new1.s I'm so glad the shirt worked and you had a good time. And....you HAVE been through alot and you have been VERY BRAVE!!! That's a great compliment. Give thanks!
I hope I didn't miss anyone. My chemo brain works only when it wants to. I think I need to start writing stuff down. Our group has gotten so big.
I'm still missing Cathi.....really hope she's doing ok.
((((((((((((((((((big Sunday hugs to all my sister friends))))))))))))))))))))))
Hey...if I missed somebody, would that person just come here and whop me upside the head. I bet I don't miss you again
:
-
Kudos Coonie...........look out............here comes your head whomp!!!! LMAO.
-
I gathered the trash and put it out for pick up. That counts as "cleaning", right??? My son took me for lunch - reuben sandwich and mac and cheese. Can you guess this was at an Irish Pub? We started for the all you can eat brunch place, but the line was half way down the block. It was at least 70 degrees (67 at 5:30 pm), sunny, and perked me up a lot.
My legs ache from walking, and the Metro was so crowded you did not need to hold on. This is Cherry Blossom festival time and good weather and lots of tourists and a weekend. They run the metro trains back to back because of all the people.
Tomorrow I think I will sluff off from housework. Dexa scan at 1:00. I probably will be here in the morning with my cup of coffee, checking up on you all. HUGS, Nancy
-
I'm taking a day "off" from housework...it's too beautiful a day to waste indoors doing any of the things that don't have to get done everyday. I made the bed, made breakfast and lunch, dinner will be grilled lamb chops, and I might get a load of laundry done. I've walked around the block (1 mile around) twice so far.
-
Well, know me upside the head.......I'm sorry Patmom....you must have posted a few pages back and I missed it. Sorry about that. Maybe you can get extra bonus points for being missed by accident
-
Oh, you ladies do make me laugh! And thanks for the validation on the taxes. Lefty, good luck on the scan tomorrow.

Hello all. I forget the name of the outfit, but there's a nationwide service called something like Angels for Cleaning that will clean the house of anyone going through cancer treatment for free. I didn't know about them when I was going through treatment, but I know others who have used them over past several years with great results. Google free cleaning for cancer patients to find the companies in your area who participate.

www.cleaningforareason.org is the outfit

To all our new friends
-
Thanks everyone for pulling together to make this a fun and friendly place to gather, chat and support each other. Its become so much more than a house cleaning forum. Its a place where friends meet, have a cup of cyber coffee and connect. I look forward to coming here each morning.
-
I thank you Mom for all the wonderful ways you make fighting easier.
I need a special place to forget about the world or even share alittle
and people care. You have some wonderful people here.
God bless this family and its housework. Hugs,Debbie
-
There is a chat room on this site also. Almost no one is there in the mornings, so you can get your feet wet if you have never been on one. I was terrified with my first chat room, but you get the hang of it quickly. When it is busy, like at night, you can get dizzy trying to keep up.
Sweet dreams everyone and a restful sleep. Blessings, Nancy

Am I addicted to this thread? LOL. First one in today, Monday. Got coffee, waiting for someone to bring bagels or donuts.
-
Nancy, here, wait no longer. May I join you?
-
Thanks sharon. We can sit out on my patio slab (apartment size, lol). The birds are chirping and the trees are in full bloom.
-
LOL, perfect Nancy...........cause it just started snowing here!!! No blossoms out yet to worry about.
-
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I was up at 3 am until 4 and it was clear. Now at 8:30 we have about 4 inches of SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must admit, it's very pretty tho, the nice big fluffy Disney Land kind of stuff, but still SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, 2bignew1's I missed your post on the last page because we were posting at exactly the same time! Thanks Coonie for mentioning it. Congrats on holding your boob up high at the family gathering! Hope I didn't offend you with my post suggestion for you earlier..............
(this Smiley is called "foot in mouth" by the way, just in case)
Work again today then off tomorrow. I did do the dishwasher yesterday, but I'm not doing nothin' today. Tomorrow I was supposed to go meet my daughter for her first bride dress fitting, but with this snow and maybe more snow, I don't know! I'll keep y'all posted.
-
Barbe, would you kindly keep your Disney snow to yourself?
-
Sending some your way right now! You live in Canada too, you must suffer!
-
LOLOL, misery loves company they say.
-
Well HEY...you shared the wealth Barbe and Sharon...Nebraska got snow too! Damn it..isn't it spring?
-
Thought I'd send you Canadian gals some Dominican Republic beach pics to warm you up this morning.
We got the severe storms last night and today the winds are howling and the skies are very grey.
I decided to get some work done this morning before I got on so the downstairs has been picked up and swept and now just needs mopping. I'm also trying to simplify things with the goal that if it isn't there to get thrown down I won't have to spend all that time picking up. I need to remember that this yard sale season since I love to go looking for bargains. The fewer things I bring in the less things I have to dust, clean, move, resale.
Cathi sent me a message this morning wanting everyone to know she is doing fine and has been with her daughter through some health issues and then company on top of it. She appreciates everyones concerns and will try to get back on as soon as things settle a bit.
I'm taking a moment to have that cup of cyber coffee and bagels too. Thanks!
-
Oh, that pic is lovely. Am I safe to assume it's sand, not snow?
Good to hear news from Cathi. Thank you for passing it on.
Enjoy the coffee. Wish I could sit around but I gotta do some housework before I forget what housework actually means.
Hugs all.

Barbe ~ Totally not offended about your funny comment about my in-laws! They are the total opposite of trailer park - but I was still worried! Never know what people might say. But I did great and conquered my first family gathering with one foob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How exciting to go for bridal gown fittings! Send us a picture!
No housework today. Did three load of laundry yesterday. I have a pot raost thawing for dinner and that's it for the day. Easy, breezy Monday!
We also have a lot of snow, Our power went out last night about six times! DH set the alarm on his cell phone to make sure he got up for work.

Hi Everyone!
I can't believe how much I have missed since Friday! My laptop needs a new power cord so I won't be on for awhile. I miss you all!!! The good news is that it's amazing how much housework you can get done when you don't have a computer!!
Have a great day everyone and you can keep the snow!
-
That's probably true Linda but then we wouldn't have half the fun that way
Well its such a cold and gloomy day out today that I've decided to have a fancy tea party. A special invitation is extended to all of you of course. The table is all set. Now who else might want to come...?????
