Deborah Lynne Slone (SloneDeb)
With great sadness this Sunday morning I have come to learn Deb Slone, affectionately known as SloneDeb, passed away this Friday, April 3rd. My sincere condolences to Jacky, her husband and to her daughters and son and grandchildren.
It was an honor this past year to get to know Deb, and to support her along with all Slonerangers here on bc.org and elsewhere as her disease progressed. I know in my heart she felt our support, especially at times when fear runs strong and faith seems the grain of a mustard seed. Deb kept that faith, remained dedicated to her family, and always urged faith for those riding out their storms.
May you fly with fellow Angels, Deb. I miss you already.
Love,
Tender

A short sweet prayer I found:
I am the resurrection and the life, saith the Lord:
she that believeth in me, though she were dead, yet shall she live:
and whosoever liveth and believeth in me,
shall never die.
-
Gentle, warm hugs to her family...

Someday...I can only imagine...I'll get to meet her in Heaven.
"I can only imagine what it will be like, when I walk by Your side...
I can only imagine, what my eyes will see, when Your Face is before me!
I can only imagine. I can only imagine.Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you, Jesus? Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!I can only imagine, when that day comes, when I find myself standing in the Son!
I can only imagine, when all I will do, is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you, Jesus? Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! Yeah!
Yeah! I can only imagine!I can only imagine! Yeah! I can only imagine!! Only imagine!!!
I can only imagine.I can only imagine, when all I do is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine." -
