Alcohol Free Wine...is it OK?

moderation is the name of the game.  I was never stopped from having a drink or two occasionally and my primary wanted me to have a glass of red wine daily for cholesterol.  Think it over--I am not convinced all these study results are going to hold up in the long run.

In fact, I quit listening after they said french fries contributied to bc.

If you had a "problem" with alcohol then I'd say no to alcohol-free wine because it isn't totally alcohol-free, just like alcohol-free "beer" is really beer where the alcohol is below the legal definition.

But since you aren't in that cateogry I'd say drink it and feel a part of the party -- being aware that the things people say after they've had a few are often kind of idiot but they don't realize it. There is hardly any alcohol in it I don't think it will make a difference.

Or, you could buy some sparkling cider which comes in a similar bottle, is sweet, and has bubbles. It's really more about something fun to put in your glass or the bottle to hold than about what the liquid actually is.
