Has anybody tried a "been a boob"?

I'm looking for a new prosthesis and ran across the website for "Been a boob". It looks like a possibility but I was wondering if anyone has used it. Thanks for help.

    Jennifer,

Some women like them, as they aren't silicone and cause less perspiration behind the form. They're also pretty lightweight. I tried them and they weren't for me--I found them too lumpy and I didn't get the smooth and natural shape that I like. I think you can probably return them if you don't like them, but I would check first.

I have a pair.  They are okay but I choose to go without anything.  You can mold them into shape and they can be worn swimming.  What I didn't like was not being able to feel when I was brushing up against things...or people.  It is actually quite liberating and comfortable to go without.

I have some, I used them while waiting to get my silicon form. Worked best for me with a sports bra and loose fitting tops, not bad.

I have one, I got it to try and even out my reconstruction.

Like Erica I found it to be lumpy. I have a 'pals enhancer' that is silicone that does much better. I am very self-conscious about looking even so it just wasn't good for me.

It seems to be filled with little plastic or foam pellets, so it is light and airy. It might be good for a sports prosthesis where the bra is pretty thick

Jennifer, I'm using the Silique Comfort Lite Prostheses, which is in the triangular shape, filled with that lightweight, cool bean-bag sort of stuffing, but has a thin silicone "shell" on the outside that gives the right shape. I love it. It's real easy on my chest, molds itself to the uneven shapes of my scars, and it's not hot against my skin, but under my bra it has the firm shape and feel of the silicone -- or of a real breast, for that matter. It's a great solution for huggers like me who want their hugs to feel 100% "real"!Wink

    Be well,
    Binney

I tried it and felt like Erica.  Not smooth enough and I just could not get it to look right.
