That sounds great! Hmmmmmmmmmm...sounds pretty creative to me! Have you thought of a "name" for it?

I'm still thinking of one for my forest version... any ideas? Key words... Mother Nature...elegant... season's best... forest finds... great outdoors... all dressed up... leaves... ?

I cut the foam boobies out of my bathing suit so it lies flat now. Just like me.

Ok, gals...I can't wait to see your projects!!  As an update on the ARTFULL BRAS, we have been offered a book deal to publish the bras, their creators and the inspiration behind each piece.....we know absolutely NOTHING about discussing book deals...personally I'd rather go for a movie deal, but book first, movie second.....the proceeds will go to Best Chance Network of course which makes it more fun to venture into the publishing world.  An embellishment idea - those old orphan earrings...pins and jewelry in the bottom of your drawer...Stay Well.

Wow, Anita, a book deal sounds fantabulous -- then a TV tour, on all the talk shows, limousine rides, etc, etc.   This is so great.   Good luck and keep well.

    This is sooooooooooooooooo exciting!

Thanks ANITA - is there a deadline for submission of our bras? I - like many - work much more efficiently when a deadline is imposed! lol

I am going to work on mine today. I will post a photo later...

Thanks to all the girls who are involved with this!

ANITA  - Thanks for keeping in touch with us and for your encouragment!

I finally got quite a bit done on my bra-vo!

I took the first pic to show you a trick you might want to consider when you make yours. The fabri-tac glue doesn't dry very quickly, so I used my FAVORITE mini clamps to hold trim, etc. in place. I got them at Home Depot - about $1 a piece - years ago, and it's crazy but I actually use them quite often - for small home repair jobs, etc. (The beautiful, beaded brown leaf (x2) was sent to me by our very own abinneb/Amy - Thanks again Amy, it's perfect.)

    Here's about 1.5 hours later:

I am going to cover the hanger with light green fake moss. And I have a whole 'nother cup to finish! LOL (Next time I photograph it... I need to shoot it at an angle... it has more depth than you see in this shot.)

Also... I'm thinking of naming it Woodland Girls - huh huh... get it! LOL Or... if you have an idea of a title that refers directly to boobs... I'm open for suggestions! Have any of you started yours yet? I'm here to inspire and motivate! Wink  LOL If any of you would like to make one, but need an idea for a theme, etc., just post - we'll help!

Anita - Yikes... I know you already have forest bras in the Artful Project... but I couldn't help making this - I am a true nature/forest girl and I have lots of forest-like odds and ends laying around here in my sewing room.

My next one will be a race car theme, titled:

RACING FOR A CURE - We own a race car and I race it at 1/4 mile dragstrips - and compete against other gals in bracket racing competitions.

Laura, that is gorgeous.  Would " you can't fool Mother Nature" be appropriate???   I have bits and pieces lying around and am going to have to start embellishing one of these days.   I need one that has the theme of "wind" in its name.   No hints as to what I am planning - yet.

It's gorgeous Laura! Good for you! How about "The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree" referring to the gene link.

ANITA - Just wondering... is it too late for our bras to be considered for the auction? That's the deadline I referred to in my earlier post. I had e-mailed Sandra about submissions but haven't heard back from her regarding a date... I will send her an e-mail. AND... lol... feel free to leave a few spots open in your book for our masterpieces! lol  Wink

(btw... let us know when to start on the jock straps - LOL LOL LOL)  Embarassed

Laura:   "berry" nice !!!   beautiful.  Anything I do will pale in comparison.   Is that a fig leaf in front?   Your theme could be " the garden of EVEN"...   forgive my weird sense of humor.

Woo Hoo, Laura.  I have to think of what goes with strawberries, besides chocolate...   Since I am allergic to both, I don't know.  Dont forget to turn your clocks forward tomorrow night.  HUGS,  Nancy

Those edible items tasted horrible! I remember my husband gagging cause it was stuck on the roof of his mouth; so I tried it. UGH! Not even close to chocolate, trust me. Hey, maybe THAT'S what caused my cancer!

    Barbe - TOO FUNNY! LOL

I ordered some mini racing flags for my Racing For The Cure bra. Won't get them til next week...sooooooooo in the meantime I started on another one. It's going to be titled: "Smart Chicks Do Self-Exams" and it will be covered with teeny weenie furry baby chicks... I think it's going to be really cute.

Hi Nancy! - So glad you checked in...it was getting a little lonely here! lol Can you glue something with a little depth, on the back, in the center of the pinwheel so that it doesn't rest right up against the bra...would that help (maybe a tiny square piece of corrugated cardboard? Unless they won't spin for another reason.? Are you using a glue gun to attach it? I'm about 1/3 done with mine. Burned my finger on the *&^%$#*&^%$$ glue gun! lol
