Good place for our regatta of boats..
-
Somebody is ready for Springtime..
-
Are you a turtle??
-
-
I used to have 2 lutino lovebirds. Tucan and Fruitloops. They don't call them lovebirds for nothing, if you know what I mean.......and these two loved to constantly show each other their affection.
Sadly, we lost Fruitloops about 7 years ago. We still have Tucan. This is what he looks like.....he's about 10 years old.
Fruitloops did lay eggs a couple of times, but they were not viable....guess Tucan was shooting blanks. hehehe!
-
awwww Fruitloops is cuuuuute.
Sharon,Lisa- Nice balloons & birds, I love the turtle --- it is amazing how some of those balloons can fly...LOL
-
-
Ooohhhh I'm loving the music, birds, balloons!!!!!! What a nice way to escape!!!
I feel like saying now........"calgon.......take me away".......
This "working thing" is just take way too much of my time
How can I escape that? Oh wait!! I can't.......my boss is my DH!!!
((((((((((((((big hugs everybody))))))))))))
-
Sure could escape away on some beautiful horses...
just keep on walking....
-
Switching from Nyquill to Dayquill. Talk about 'escape.' LOL
Big hugs to all 'escapees'..............
-
Good morning Escapers. Off to town today so I'm trying to decide which balloon to take for my trek in. Or maybe by horseback.
-
A ride sounds nice!
-
How are ya doing Checkum?
Do you feel like doing a little fishing? I have time now that I'm ready to head out later this morning.
-
-
Morning ladies!!!! Hope you all are doing good this morning!
How 'bout a little bull riding today
-
Blue, my friend had 2 lovebirds and they were SO noisy. If the conversation in the room got heated......they got louder. I have 3 finches. Quiet little chirpers.
One of these "Chicklet"
One of these "Perry"
And one of these "Goldie"
-
Sharon, you're right. They can get very noisy, especially when they her silver hitting china. Love the finches. I've always had canaries too. Just love animals. We've had a rabbit for years now. We found him in the backyard. He has blue eyes so we know he was somone's pet. I also have a shih tzu and tropical fish. My place is a zoo at the best of times. hehehehe!
-
Hey Blue....animals are better than people.....MOST of the time
That's why I love 'em so much too. Better watch your rabbit close......Easter is coming up, and somebody may try to adopt him/her
-
Goldie is a yellowbreasted (or orangebreasted, can't remember) waxbill.......I couldn't really find a pic that looks quite like her. She is as big as a minute. I too had a rabbit for years "Mrs Bunny", quite the imaginative name eh? A very quiet pet but she was a nasty little bunny. Lived like a Princess though. Funny about the fish. I was looking at fish and tanks the other day. I think I'll give that one some thought. I've got one dog too.
-
Oh Coonie........what a sweet picture. For a second I thought I was on the cute thread. My bunny was black and not sweet at all. LOL, I'm sure that's why she was rescued.......someone likely got tired of her attitude and let her go. It's a wonder my DH hasn't done the same with me
-
We named our rabbit Pesky as in "pesky wabbit". lol
I forgot to mention Dante (Yorkie) and Virgil (Fox Terrier) that my SO is holding onto until I finish up with some tests. They are both tiny...toy breeds. My shih tzu's name is Dahlia. She IS a pretty flower.
-
Ooohhhh Jo!!! That's cute!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gatlinburg TN....one of my other all time favorite places to go!! Wishing I was at Dollywood RIGHT NOW!!!
Or driving through Cades Cove.......
-
Hey Jo, I bet his momma thinks he's cute
.
Blue, I hope you get your dogguses back soon. (If doggus is singular I hope I'm using the correct plural for the word
)
Lovely road Coonie or is it a path? It looks like it might lead to an enchanted forest.
-
I don't Jo
but I imagine it's famous for something because years ago I remember doing a puzzle of that exact picture I'm sure.
-
Howdy doody escapees
Hey Sharon-----you're a puzzler? My mom LOVES puzzles!!! She's been working on a 500 piece one all week and just about has it done. And it's teenie tiny pieces too.......whew!
That is a beautiful place Jo!!! We actually usually stay in Pigeon Forge. I kinda like to be close to the outlet malls
I don't think I would want to go when there are so many people either. Have you ever been at Christmas time?? It's so pretty! Sharon, you should come down and go there. I'm sure you could find you some banjo picking....nice little cabin in the woods....coffee.....ohhhh I wish I was there NOW
This would be your view from your porch...of course, the Fall colors are really pretty, or even if there's snow!!
Here's your porch...
Edit to size pic....
-
Oh Coonie, I could escape to that porch any time. It kind of looks like a martini sipping porch tho.
Are those the blue ridge mountains?
-
I'll bet DH could play his banjo really well there!!! This weeks tune is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!
-
Well, I put in great smokey mountains, but I imagine you could slurp whatever kind of drink you want to from that porch.l I'm guessing it would be a most relaxing escape. We could listen to some pickin and grinnin.....
-
COOOOOOOONIE, DH said that's a 4 string........that fellow's not likely pickin'...........ya need a 5 stringer for that. Everyone's a critic eh? HUH????
Scrugg's style
