I finally found the Get Together Forum!!!!

O.K., I'll start! I'm relatively new to the area and after the loss of out angel Twink, I finally got motivated to try a meet-up all of the girls in the DFW area, which I've mentioned before to Sue and Trish.(yes, it's Friday nite....I might have to bump the thread so those that have a life....will see it!) Wink

So girls, wanna get together? I'm thinking lunch on the weekend, some place central, maybe someplace outside since our weather (after this weekend) is going to start getting real nice. Right? If the weekend is no good....happy hour works for me too!

When/if we get a rsvp going, we can figure out a place. I would love to meet y'all!!

    Traci,

    I told you I'm a homebody!  I'm in - and yes we'll have to find a weekend that's nice.  My dd has a competition tomorrow and the other dd has a birthday party to go to tomorrow as well.  I'm always busy.  I've done 3 loads of laundry tonight and will do the other 7 tomorrow!   Enough boring stuff about me!

    Grapevine or possibly Irving would be in the middle of DFW for a get together. 

    We'll figure it out!

    I'll just have to find some more work in the Dallas area and invite myself to be an honorary visitor!

    Where is everybody?? I know y'all aren't outside! It's too freaking cold!!!

    Hey, there!  I just found this thread and thought I'd see if anyone was around!  I've been hanging out on the Exchange City & Continued Tissue Expander Pain threads 'cause that's where my life is right now.  Just thought it would be nice to connect with some fellow DFW girls!

    So nice to "meet" ya. So far, not many takers but I'm sure there are more of us there are just so many forums now.

    I'm on that Expander pain thread....only from more than a year ago. I felt your pain girl. How are you doing now? (I haven't read that thread in awhile.)

    Hopefully, more will chime in, but in any case, I'd love to meet you and have met 2 other girls, Sue and Trish, already and they are great!!!

    I'd love to have a get together!

    Thanks, Traci!  It's nice to know there are folks nearby!  I'm actually going to my first lunch/meeting tomorrow of the Fort Worth group of bc survivors.  Should be interesting.  A friend is tatking me so hopefully it won't be too weird.......  At least everyone won't be looking at my chest! LOL

    I wander up To Big-D several times a year to visit family.  I think a get-together Texas-style would be fun!  Give me a little lead time and I will be there with bells on.
