Maybe a small adjustment needs to be made hehehehe.
-
Whew...... to be able to see into the future like that.
Awesome.
Will attempt to see if this pic of my neice from FB will live on here happily??
-
oh for goodness sakes, the pressure's on.
a new page!!
will the pic stick around??
stay tuned for the next episode of "As the Waves Roll."
-
Yikes, small adjustment my patootie........we'd all be 28 years older!!!!!!!!!!! Which in itself isn't a bad thing but to age that in less than a day. Well I certainly missed a lot of the fun these last (fast) 28 years.

-
Seems she's hangin' in Faith.........at the TOP of the page no less.

-
Toyful, praying that you are having a nice time in Kauai. Wishing you soothing breezes, calm waters and good times with your family. We are all anxious to here from you when you have the strength.
Gentle beach hugs and good wishes to all who need them. We are all kindred spirits indeed.

-
Oooohhhhh I've been thinking about Toyful too!! I hope she's having a good trip.
Toy-----give us some pics of beautiful Hawaii

Got my jammies on. Does one wear jammies on the beach?
Just wondered how your weekend with your friends went Hope? I hope you had fun and I guess you must be tired. Good thing you missed Coonie's b'day party 'cause it tuckered me out for sure. That girl knows how to celebrate. I'm getting too old for late night parties. I think next party we'll have to plan a brunch

Gentle hugs.
-
Good morning Beachettes. Time for a walk and enjoy the early morning quiet on the beach. I'm well rested from Coonie's party. When is the next one? Hehehehe.
Looks like it's going to be another perfect day at the beach.

-
I've ordered a breakfast buffet for later.

-
Such joie de vivre.......

-
-
Sharonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
Love the rock sculptures. What a tribute to our very own beach-angel. Awesome.
Seeing that buffet is enough to send me straight to the fridge. I'll be right back. LOL.
-
Good morning beachies!! Is this the way to the beach?

Whew.....after the partying this weekend, I could use a little R&R today.
Buuuutttt......I think I'm gonna have to work. Busy week at work, so I gotta do my part:(
(((((((((((((((((((((big hugs to EVERYONE)))))))))))))
-
OMGoodness me, oh, my.
I know that intersection!! I think I've probably taken that exact same picture myself!!
It's the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, right near the intersection of Las Olas boulevard.
Las Olas is THE shopping/art mecca section of town that is my absolute favorite.
Thanks for taking me back there, Coonie.
-
Bright and shining beach day wishes to all of you SanDivas!
Even though it's cloudy outside, inside my head it is sunny and bright thanks to all of your delightfully entertaining and beautiful postings. I would love to share some images with you and I'm embarassed to say that I can't figure out why it won't work. @%&!!!
When I click on insert it asks for the URL, but I just wanted to insert a photo from a CD. Help if you please. Thank you! -
-
Hope this helps....
I dont know if this is the right way to post a picture
But I signed up for the free photobucket and loaded a
the photos there...it helps if you know how to resize a photo
to medium, if not you can do it at photobucket
Once you get an account
You will see a blue rectangle that says
choose files...
click on it and it will go to your computer..there you
look for your photothen you double click on the photo and it should go to photobucket
let it load then it will say,
1of1 image has uploaded
you go down to the blue rectangle that says save and continue
and click
the photo will appear below..click on it
and it will appear by itself with link codes to the right
left click on Direct Link.. a black lline will go thru it
right click on that and you choose copy from the menu
Go back to BCO
In the box for post a reply at the top there is a little tree..
left click on that ...
A box will come up with Insert/edit image
right clink on the Image URL and a line will appear
right click on that and choose paste
then go down to the bottom and left click on insert...the photo will
appear in the forum
There you go!!
-
Why not we all grab a boat and form a regatta in the bay??

-
Oh Thank goodness. Lisa that seems like a very clear explaination. We should all remember that Lisa's instructions are on page #377, so that when we add additional beach combers, we can refer them back.
It's just fantastic to see posts from our two newest beachie bunnies!!
Lucky, you'll figure it out. I was totally & completely clueless and our own AlwaysHopeJazzy walked me thru and held my hand -- I'm always grateful for her initial encouragement.
It's so much fun when you finally figure it out! I too go thru free photobucket, but apparently there are other ways as well.
Anna. I learned on the "next person" thread that you are a quilter!! We share that love in common. Do you happen to know the fabric of Amy Butler?? She is a client of my husband's..... I've had the opportunity to attend a holiday party in her home..... the day before the party it was being photographed for a magazine spread!! She is an incredible woman. Kind. Gracious. And dramatically successful. I had no idea before we went. I learned all about her after the party. LOL.
Please feel free to tell us anything you're willing to share.
I'm the mom to two grown daughters and have 5 grandchildren, between my husband & I, with a sixth making it's appearance early summer. (Those are our Denver kids and they don't believe in finding out the sex of the baby ahead of time -- so its always a surprise!!)
We live in OH primarily, but are often elsewhere. LOL. Leaving on Wed for Baltimore and then from there to my DD2's final recital for her Masters program. Next week I'll be in Alabama.
My work as a happy music lady has me kicking up my heels and traveling to various teacher conferences around the country. Enough about me.
So glad that you've been able to find us -- in the many active threads around here.
Lisa, Checkum, Myself -- and probably others who I can't remember have also gotten addicted to Picasa 3 for making photo collages. That's a free service, too and lots of fun.
I'll meet ya down here later this afternoon and we'll share quilting ideas and get better acquainted.

-
-
I realized that we'll need more chairs -- to get better acquainted.
This is a pic that I took last summer on our adventure-of-a-lifetime to Aruba. Still a fav pic:

My DH put together the whole trip as a surprise for me -- when I had finished rads, as something to look forward to. It was idyllic. Truly paradise.
Which reminds me..... I wonder how Toy is doing?
-
Here's another one from the Aruba adventure.
Remember when I found this one for you Footie??

-
What a wonderful thing for your DH to do Faith.
-
-
-
Happy Monday to you to Mary Lou.
The picture is lovely.
-
Good Afternoon Beachy Babes.....
I'm Loving the Fun & the Stroll down Memory Lane!
....... Thinking of (((((((TOY))))))) Too.....I have a Call in to her Onc. Nurse Friend. She is probably at work today so I won't hear anything till tonight. I will post as soon as I can ......if I hear anything from her.

Waving with the Waves from A to Zzzzzz's & In Betweens!!!!!
-
Waving back at ya Julz.
Thankyou for keeping us updated if there is any news about Toy.
