most protien drinks are soy based. As someone who is ER+/PR+ and on Arinidex, I want to avoid even plant based ER.

The thing with Alli (orlistat) is that is not only reduces your absorption of fat, but also of fat-soluble vitamins such as A and D. And vitamin D in particular is really important to reduce the risk of BC, including recurrence. So I would stay away from Alli.

Can anyone tell me if there are any risks from weight lifting after having only a SNB?
It was last fall, so I'm not concerned with that part and I haven't had any lymph problems, but I've been hesitant to get back to lifting just in case.
Not to mention the joint pain from the Arimidex. But, I know I need to do something quick!!

Susan, there's a risk to everything. Check with your doctors for any restrictions that they have, such as a weight limit they don't want you to exceed, and maybe get a consultation with a qualified lymphodema specialist for baseline measurements and pointers. No matter what you do, start slowly, build up gradually. We are no longer 20 year olds who can overdo the athletics on weekends and pay with a day or two of soreness. If we overdo without adequate conditioning, we risk permanent injury, but with proper, slowly built up conditioning, we can do most things we want to.

ouch, my aching shoulders and arms. So, I know I'll be using very light weights, for sure! Although, I have to admit, it feels kind of good to be sore - I haven't had that feeling since last fall.
