    Hi Sheila and all!

It was 19 degrees here and also clear.  Can you imagine if all that rain had been snow?  My daughter is in Denver, CO and it's a lot warmer there than here!

I just heard the weather forecast and there's another arctic blast coming towards the Carolinas again next week-- yuk!  I don't like that awful cold, especially when we have the horrible cold winds. I either want lots of snow, or 75 degrees and sunny! Cool  Take care and stay warm!

Tomorrow night around 7 it will start snowing, maybe a few inches an hour and will not let up until sometime Sunday.  I am in Mass.  Next week is also going to be cold.

Another sunny, mild day in San Diego - mid-upper 70's. Sure helps my attitude. And my heating bill.

Can't believe it--about the 5th day the temperature here on the Central Coast of CA is in the 70s!

I'm out and about doing errands this week in shorts and a sleeveless top.

Of course, when the sun goes down it gets really cold--like 40 degrees--LOL. I know that's probably warm to those of you living in the 14 degree type climates or in the minuses.

I agree with Lisa--helps my heating bill also. But I have to say, we really do need rain now. Our reservoirs are very low.

CA girls... I am coming your way... as soon as the snow/ice goes away... for good!

So we had a very nasty storm here... we were supposed to have more snow than what we got... instead... ICE baby... the drive to work wasn't bad... yes... work opened doors and was waiting for us... GRRR!  How I wish I was a kid again to stay at home on snow days!

PM time was fun... NOT... my co-worker and I had to walk about about 200 feet in very little, little baby steps... otherwise... KABOOM... slip and slid all over the place....

So we finally arrived at the final destination and OmG... my car was an ice cube... and the drive to get out of that town into mine... imagine Swiss cheese... that's how the roadways were... the holes off course were much small than the Swiss cheese ones... I made it all the way home driving at the whopping speed of less than 25 mph!

I am so ready for the Spring... Summer... anything but this crap!!!!!!!  AHHHHHH!

So today we are supposed to hit 30s... warning heat wave... may be now we w/ have some, and only some, melt down... the side roads in CT are awful, Swiss cheese land still!

Other than that, I saw more than a 1,001 beautiful pictures of iced trees, bushes... birds playing....

Wow, Sheila, you all sure got your share of snow this time!!  What a nightmare for the folks on I-85-- it's bad enough in nice weather!  I hope you weren't stranded in that traffic.  Stay warm!

The snow count here in western NC was so strange-- 7 inches at my house and down the road 2 miles there was only about 3 inches, and counties west of us didn't get anything.  It has melted very fast though.  I really think I'm done with snow for the year.

Spring in NC is just about like Spring in OH but not quit as cold. 70's to 40's from one day to the next. We have had 2 days of dreary showers with cool temps, and expecting storms this afternoon and tomorrow. One good thin this rain will help get out of the drought conditions.

    Hi Everyone,

My daughter leaves Australia tomorrow to visit New York. I've given her my thermal underwear.

You see, here in the tropics in Australia we are just not used to wearing all that clothing. In fact at 5pm in Autumn ( I think you call it Fall) it is still 27deg C. We are sooooo over the heat.

It's been a long time since I've been to the snow. With bone mets I guess skiing is now out of the question.Cool

    Hi to everyone,

I just checked the local weather forecast for my area-- the western NC mountains-- and we are under a Winter Storm Watch!?!?!  It's supposed to be Spring!!  They have forecast 4 inches or better by Tuesday night.  This is so not fair!

Sandra, Australia sounds so very nice!  I hope everyone else is NOT going to have snow this week!

    Take care, whatever your weather!
