Julz of the beach, thinking of you and hoping you have a good night and can jump the waves with me soon.

coonie, I found a slice of cake left, it looks good.

Now, I need to find you a gift, would some bling do?

Emeralds and Diamonds. If you don't like it you can trade it in for a car or boat or airplane.

-
Coonie. You're psychic! You sure can read between the lines. LOL.
Today is actually our wedding anniversary. Seriously. Our 15th.
Me in raining OH, spending the morning at the onc's office and the afternoon with a potty & a toddler. Quite the day of celebration, huh?
[We've pledged to make up for this temporary distance thing with big fireworks next weekend, when we rendez-vous in Maryland. We'll recalibrate our calendars and celebrate then. I promise.]
Oh for Pete's sake. Edited cuz I again have the honor of starting a new page..... haven't had this many opportunities to launch a page in the history of the beach. What's up with that.??
Another re-run pic from up north last summer:

-
Well Happy Anniversary Faithie......and may you have many more happy years together!!!

Mary Lou, I hope DH is continuing to recover. I hope you are holding ups as well. Don't forget to make sure you eat and get rest during this time.
Toyful, I hope you are safely in Hawaii paradise by now and having some wonderful family time. Rest, relax and gather strength for the new fight of this horrible disease.
Checkum, I hope you have a nice time visiting with family.

Hello Beachies......It's been a while since I've been at the "beach!" I'm off this week and I've had a busy week. Fun though.
Grandkids, breakfast with daughter in law, lunch with sis, lots of walks OUTSIDE and the rest of the week dh will be off. We have some dinners out planned and Friday taking the grandkids to "Build A Bear!"
You all well? Having fun doing whatever it is you like to do??? I hope so! Life is short (don't we know it) and important that we live each moment to the fullest....thanking God for each breath and asking Him to help us to live our lives in a way that brings Glory to Him and lots of love and happiness to others.
Love you my "sisters!"
Mary Jo

Hey Beacheees! I made to it to Kauai, it is beautiful to look at it and to hear. Lots of birdlife! My children are being great with my feeble brain which is making less and less sense. My SO is treating me like we are a on a honeymoon. SO had to take my kids shopping today so he did not take any photos. Tomorrow for sure!
-
Happy eveningtide Marejo and Toyful. Marejo, living life to the fullest, yes, time goes faster than we think. So glad you are enjoying your time off. I'm so happy to see you dropping by the beach.
Toyful!!!! How wonderful to see that you made it safely to Kauai. I can't wait to see pictures. How was the plane ride? Uneventful I hope. I'm so glad you are getting some wonderful family time. Moments to treasure.
-
-
Oh good Toyful, safe and sound in paradise, am so excited to see some pictures. Have a really good happy time.
MareJo, always happy when you splash in. Those grandkids can keep you busy. I am going on a field trip with my granddaughters class tomorrow so that should be lots of fun. I am going to take my camera. How many grandkids do you have? What is build a bear?
Jazz my ray of sunshine, big hugs to you
hugs and love all around. Got to get to bed or I might oversleep tomorrow.
-

Sahalie, our beach cruise director. Wouldn't another scavenger hunt be just the ticket right now? Please come paint us a picture with your lovely, magical words.
Toyful, I hope you got plenty of rest and get to enjoy some lovely Hawaiian adventures today.
Curlieqs, thinking of you and praying that you have peace and healing.

-
Good morning Sharon..

-
Morning Hope. I was busy stuffing my face with all that fruit.
-
WOW! Thank you all for the warm welcome. I love the flipflops, Sharon and the towel selection is quite amazing, Spar2.
F&F, I had no idea those things were called cairns, and yes, what a coincidence! My pictures all come from our place in France, which is in a Celtic region (Brittany) and where we walk out along the water every day to see the little creations that seem to appear overnight. Toward the end of the summer there are so many you don't know where to look anymore.
So I invite you to come walking with me. Put on a windbreaker, cause this time of year it may be mighty sunny but the wind can make my little dog fly. Let's see what the little cairn fairies have come up with for us.
OOOH, I like this one.

Let's look closer

Come on

I think little dog is tired

Let's go have a cup of tea and get all the sand out of our shoes.
-
Isn't that a cool picture? Had some trouble getting it posted. Must have been a photobucket burp. I wonder how they did that with all those rainbow colors.
-
Anna, that is amazing. Do those sculptures have some kind of special meaning?
