LIFE'S A BEACH!

Good morning beach friends! Hope you all are having a good Saturday so far. I'm so glad to see that Toy posted a message. (((((((((Toy)))))))))) praying for your strength and breathing and pain to be easier on you for your trip. Let others do as much as they can for you so you can save your strength for the trip. While there, we'll try not to bother you too much:) We will be as quiet as a mouse. Of course, we'll all be outside sleeping in whatever we can find:)
Sharon....this isn't a plane, but maybe faster than a boat....how 'bout it?

-
Checkum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think you need to be carrying that HUGE load with everything you've been through, girl!!! You should let somebody else carry that for you.......I'm sure Sharon won't mind
It's so good to see you posting again. We've been worried about you!! Edit to add pics: I sure want my gold stars!!!

-
Good morning beach babes...I don't think I can come to this thread anymore because I get too depressed looking at all these beautiful weather pictures.LOL!
Woke up this morning with SNOW on the ground. Yesterday we were so thankful that the last had melted with a warm font that went through for the last week.
Julz...as soon as my DH can help me with posting a painting of mine I will get one on here. I don't have a clue.Have a great day everyone!
-

Good morning Beach Babes! I'm going to be off and running shortly but wanted to stop in and wish everyone a wonderful day.
Toyful, I'm so happy to see a post from you! I continue to include you in my prayers. Sounds like your doctors are staying on top of things and the oxygen will help you feel better. I did get the other book, by the way. I haven't started it yet. I pray and hope you feel better everyday and that your trip brings you healing rest in tropical breezes and that you have some good quality family time.
Checkum, those tissue expanders can defintely be uncomfortable. Once you get your implant it will be much softter and much more comfortable.
Well, I'm going to hit a few more places and then I'm out of this house to get some sun and get some errands done. I guess Faith is on the road by now.
Hi to sharon, julz, coonie, lisa, curieqs, sahalie, dream, foots, artsee, marejo and everyone from A to Z.
-
Oh You Wonderful Beachettes!!!!!
Toy it is so good to hear from YOU.....But first & foremost is YOU!!! I wish I could wave a Magic Wand And make this pain go away for the trip.....You Know I will Keep Praying for you! I don't know if you can get a Mini oxygen concentrator......if it would produce enough oxygen to get your O2 levels up.....I know time is short but maybe you could ask in time for the trip. A concentrator takes oxygen out of the air & concentrates it to certain levels that can sustain comfort & enough oxygen levels in your body. This helps in that you don't have to change O2 bottles.....as it is continuous .....just a thought. I'm so glad that the O2 is helping you....Please Rest & take it easy......I'm so glad that a plan is coming together to make this happen for you.......Sending You Much Love & Gentle Hugs!
To All the Other Beach Babes from A to Z & In betweens......I'm so Beat.....I swear it was a Full Moon Last Night! Not my worst night ever.....but not one I will soon forget!
Since this is my Night.....Although Your Day......
Happy Day MOON BEAMS to You on the Beach!!!!

OK.....Here is a Day View for All you Normal Beachettes......

You Know I had to find us a Cabanna Boy!!!!!

Well I had to have More than ONE to go Around!.....
! -
I want hammock boy!!!!!!!!!

Checkum, you'll have to have your own ship if you bring that much luggage. Is this big enough?

-
Hey, I found a fast way to get to Kauai.

-
-
Very nice Spar!
-
Hi everyone, got my scarf finished and it is REAL stretchy. I love it. Today am going to make some fuzzy flip flops. Can you tell I have been letting housework go. LOL
So glad the O2 helped Toyful, you just have to have a great time on this trip. Still praying and sending lots of love your way.
Checkum, remember it will get better, easier, and softer. I can't even imagine getting them in at the same time as mastectomy, double healing being sent to you.
Julz, some beautiful pictures you posted to start the day. Have a good sleep.
Jazzy, be careful while you out and about doing your errand.
Yep, if Faith wasn't on the road she would be here. Maybe we will hear from her tonight.
Sharon, are sure that can land us all safely where we want to go? If so I want a ride.
coonie, you did good, you did real good. You will get a gold star for sure
Artsie, can't wait to see some of your paintings. Love seeing anything anyone has made or painted.
(((((((((((footie)))))))))))thinking of you.
Mary-Lou- thinking of you and your husband, hope all goes well and is B9
Sahalie, come out and play with me. Hope you are having a good day.
to anyone I missed hugs and love from a-z

Im'a hoppin. skippin and a jumpin on my sand dune just to keep up with you all.
We are due for some more rain here in my land of dried out Cally. Let's see what we get. Not much has happened so far and our sand dunes are dry. Even the sea grass is thirsty.
* Toyful. We have not met as I am a little scarce around here lately. You can always see me out in the waves like the one Spar posted on the page before this one (which is beeutiful by the by Spar!) but I want you to know I have read your posts especially your one above and my prayers are going straight with you to Hawaii. Do you have a Respiratory Therapist on your team? If so they could hook you up with a very fine portable O2 situation easy to use and small like a puppy in a bag. Perfect for on the plane and the beach. O2 will sure make you feel better and I'm so glad to read that you are feeling better with it.
Have a wonderful time on those most serene beaches of Happy.
* Spar. The scarf you knitted or crocheted ( ? ) is beautiful. I need to get started on my crocheting to add to the squares. I'm so slow. Oysters over yarn
* What do I do.
* To all the shells on the beach I send warm hearted wishes to each of you in these times of health struggles and emotional upheaval. Please know that each of you are thought of daily and held close in heart for speedy relief of any and all pain. It seems so many are going thru so much at this time.
The Beach * thank you to a beautiful hearted Angel* is a safe haven of dunes and miles of soft warm sands to wander at will and feel safe and joyful. Friendship and Love. Feel the warm sea breezes holding you close and always enjoy the waves waving at all of us.
* Your pictures you all post here are a breath of fresh air and bring smiles at each. I'm not able to name each and every but each and every are in my thoughts and prayers.
* Clouds are overhead of my sand dune. But who the hay cares. It's the BEACH. *
Love. Peace. Be Well. Joy. Healing. Most of all Healing.

Hi Everyone..............It's been a while since I've visited the shore. With the weather getting nicer around here (well, last night we did have snow BUT today is mid 50's and sunny - haha) I don't stay indoors. Too much to do and enjoy away from computer and outdoors. We take it when we can around here......we experience LONGGG winters.
I love to see all the pictures here. They are so beautiful.
Just wanted to say "hi" to you all and to let you know how much I appreciate this "cyber circle of friendship." The wealth of information we gather from all the different threads....the hugs and the prayers are priceless.
God's Peace and love surround you all...
Mary Jo
-
Hi Mary Jo. So nice to see you. When we don't see beach friends for a while it's nice to know it's because you've been busy.
Just in case you lost your flip flops here is a new pair.

how does one present hours worth of music without a CD player??????
DUH. DUH. DUH.
no gold stars for me.
first time in 13 years i've gone and done this nonsense!
so the dear, sweet woman in charge of the conference drove to her preschool center and gathered up her machine for my use thru the day. thank goodness for the kindness of strangers.
now i've gotta figure out how to get it 'back' since it's a couple of hours from home: (crud)
isn't my life interesting...... it's almost as good as reading the comics. LOL
babytown is between this campus and my house, so when the day is over, i'm going there so that the mommy & daddy can go on a date.
love and sandy hugs to all.......
-
Oh Sahalie, thank you for sharing the shores with us today, your post always make me smile. I love you sweet sister. Thank you about my scarf, I knitted it. Will post the flip flops when I finish them. I think you will love them.
Marejo, I know what you mean about being outside, I have been chilled for the last 2 days but hoping for a little more warmth tomorrow to go outside and play after church.
I have been working on our taxes and what we get back in federal we will have to pay to state so at least we are even stephen.
Hey, I like those purple flip flops. I want some with some bling.
Love you guys, off to do some errands.
-
in my excitement to make sure that this posted, i forgot to include a special shout-out prayer for MaryLou and dear husband, especially, too!

Anybody who wants to ride......just hop on...we'll get there eventually

-
Coonie. I think this is the only mode of transportation that you've forgotten to consider:

-
Here's another consideration.
Even better gas mileage.
I think we should go green......

-
Or here's a thought.
Maybe we can hitch a ride??

-
Does no one life my flip flops but me, am I weird? Just curious cause I loved them. Here is my mode of transportation.

It might even float.
-
Maybe we can get there with these?

-
Spar!! Your flips flops are a MUST HAVE!! They are really neat looking. Very fashionable for the beach.
Girls, look, we've only got 2 days till we leave........if you'd started out a month ago perhaps with a good tail wind you'd have made it in time. I think I'm going this way.
Beam me over Scottie.
