Slonedeb, I'm sending you morning prayers for strength and determination in the face of all that is at hand. Know that we are all here cheering for you, wishing you wholeness, wishing you determination.
You've been thru so much and I admire that strength, grit and 'take-that' attitude that you've displayed on so very many occaisions. Know how proud I am of you for hanging on to all that is significant as you have fought this fight.
Sure wish I could sit by your bed and tell you these things in person.
Much love today and always.

Thinking of you sister, Deb. As Faithandfifty always says so well, my heart does feel your presence in Kentucky as I go about my day. Wishing you a good day with warmth and food, drink and friends, relief from pain and peace from anxiety. Keep your faith strong and your eyes focused on the Heavens; blue sky and cotton clouds, and at times a beautiful rainbow.

Hoping we'll hear some news soon, too, as your Slonerangers are circling the wagons and camping around the fire. Sending you it's warmth and crackle, the wood burning smell, and of course the camp prayers and songs for our dear, dear Deb.Tender

So glad that Tender's gotten the fire rolling. Spring is such a great time for a camp-out.
Much love to you tonight, SloneDeb.
I've had a lovely day, singing with about 80 preschoolers, up the road. Whew. They've worn me out.

SloneDeb, Kbug and all my SloneRanger friends:
Today starts year number 3 of my walk amidst cancer..... yesterday was my 2nd cancer-versary, of my diagnosis -- when this all started I was head over heels into the spin cycle.
Thru this past year of being a SloneRanger, I have learned so much.
I have learned to 're-frame' my experience with DCIS and put it into proper perspective. SloneDeb, Kbug, your witness has helped me to grow and learn and for that I will always be grateful. You have demonstrated such class and fortitude in your walks.
It is thru your sharing and determination that I have seen the value of this place. I have learned much.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart -- for your willingness to share.

Always good to read the posts of fellow Slonerangers. Congrats Faithandfifty on your anniversary and insight gained.I think to today is the first day of Spring, Deb although I also heard officially it's slightly later. Crazy there isn't just one time but who cares. Spring is spring, with Daffodils (where is Daffodil anyway, just love her pictures and posts), and Crocuses, and light winds, and stronger Sun for warmth, and Towhees singing drink your tea! Ha, Green Tea, black tea, any tea yet tea. Spring cleaning, cracking of windows, throwing out the old, weeding both home stuff and gardens. Kentucky horse raises, Kentucky Derby, bluegrass music, spiritual songs. We miss you Deb, and pray each day. Our thoughts envelope you, and our support is one!Tender

Dear slonerangers,
I just spoke with slonedeb's husband. "She is not doing well at all.' He took her to the hospital on Sunday and she had pneumonia. She came home Wednesday night. He said they are keeping her pain under control, but she is mostly sleeping. Please continue to remember her and her family in your prayers.
Thank you all so much for being so faithful. You know that even in her illness, her concern has been for us. Kbug, especially she asked about you the last time I talked with her. Please keep the circle intact and pray for mercy.
Pam

Deb - I'm still praying.

I am still praying for you our dear Deb. I am not ready for you to leave us but I do not wish you in pain. You mean so much to me and to all the sloane rangers. My heart is heavy that you are not doing well. I want you to get your miracle. No matter what I love you and always will you are my dear bc sister.
Dear Lord I ask for a miracle for our dear Deb. Lord I am trying to keep the faith for us all. So many need a brand new touch from you. Ease our dear ones pain and may she feel a peace that only comes from you. I know that when she is with you Father she will get a brand new body free of pain and worry. You have collected all her tears. Lord I thank you for your love . God bless us all. Amen

Dear Mr. SloneDeb. I am so sorry to hear of your report thru Pammy. I am so sorry that this has been such a struggle for your dear wife..... she speaks so lovingly of all of your care and attention, of your faith and your devotion. I'm sure you have been going thru every emotion possible as this war has waged on.
Please know and extend to our dearest SloneDeb, our deepest love and concern. We all continue to pray for miracles -- from science and directly from heaven. I fear our science has not kept pace fast enough, so now we are in the hands of the angels.
I can't imagine what you are going thru, but I would guess that your Deb's sleeping more is a way to bring some peace to her body.
We are all here for you and the kids (and the grandkids, too)...... know how much your Deb means to us.

So beautiful are kbugs words and prayers for sweet sister Deb that I feel no need but to read hers again and again and those of others.
Deb, my friend, so very sad tonight. Your liveliness on this thread is missed, it's been over a year since I saw your post of woe. We've journeyed together, fingers interlocked, prayers said as Slonerangers. Recently we circled around a fire: its warmth is as the union of our souls, its light reflecting that of heavens path, its being draws us into a circle of support. You're with us now, dear Deb, snuggled amoungst, and us with you. Tonight and ever more.
Dear Lord, please guard over dear Deb, let her sleep be without fear, may her breathing be without labor, her pain be controlled and when she awakes may she see her family and feel their love and comfort. We ask you envelope her family in these difficult days, please be giving in your love to them. May Deb know your face and that of our angel sisters and brothers when in twilight and may thy will be done on heaven and on earth.
Blessings to you Slonedeb. May we Slonerangers and whomever else comes now to join us continue to be ever faithful...

Tender, you write so beautifully. We are so fortunate to have you among us.
Deb, you are in my prayers and I ask the Blessed Mother to wrap her arms around you to comfort you now in your time of need. All your sisters are here for you and with you. Feel our hugs, feel our love, lean on us for comfort.
Hugs and prayers,
Candie

O Lord, it is with a heavy heart that I come before you tonight. Please bless our dear Slonedeb and her husband and family. Thank you Lord that Deb is sleeping and resting, we pray that you would minister to her in her sleep and in her times of wakefulness, please let her pain be controlled and give her your peace. Lord, reassure her that her sisters here continue to pray for a miracle on her behalf and we look forward to the day when we can all meet in glory and be pain free. Thank you for the priviledge of knowing Deb and being able to pray with her and for her. We continue to look to you for your mercy for Deb and your love poured out upon her family. Sue
