Just wondering if anyone can give me some advice.  I'm six weeks post bilateral mastectomy/TE placement & just resumed teaching my 2x/wk aerobics class this week.  It hasn't been an easy road - and I still have a ways to go with endurance and arm range of motion, but it's great to sweat again!  Because my skin has been too tight, my PS has yet to do my first "fill."  I'm now scheduled for that in a couple weeks.  My question is, what are the chances that I can teach the next morning?  I've read lots on "Exchange City" and "painful expander" threads, so I know each person's experience is different, but I'd like to see if anyone has been in my situation.  Just wondering if I should find a sub......Thanks!

I seemed to be better in the mornings after the fills than the afternoons/evenings, so I think you should be okay.  Just stick to the am classes.

    Hello

I went back to teaching Zumba classes three weeks post bilateral mastectomy with tissue expanders...and had 200 cc's at the time of surgery.  I also taguht classes on days that I had my fills.  I never had any problems.  I had fills in the morning and would teach class at 6:30.  I think the movement helped me to heal much faster.

I also taught classes all through chemo!

I think it might depend on how many cc's you get in your fill.  My first fill was 210 cc's and I was hurting for a few days.
