IPT

Options

Hi,  I don't post often but I wanted to share my latest news!  I did 4 doses of IPT chemo then went for surgery of a reccurence lump and it was in neucrossis!  I now have 6 more IPT's to go.  I am very pleased with the IPT.   The only side effect I have is my big toe going numb.   I can sure live with that.

    Hi Sue,

I glad you are doing so well. How much of the diet are you still doing?

I have read a bit on IPT but could you explain how it was incorporated into your treatment.. I would be very appreciative - also, the big toe going numb can be a sign that you have a problem with your lumbar/disc in your lower back so be careful don't put too much pressure on the back or legs right now until that relaxes.. So glad you are doing well!!!

Flalady,  I have been very bad on my diet!  I had the old scar line redone and fatty tissue that was left by the previous mastectomy.  Also auxilary disection to remove that hunk of fat. I have just sat around for 3 weeks doing nothing and eating badly.  Now I am going to get back on the diet since I can push the veggies through the juicer!  LOL!

Deirdre1,  I chose mastectomy at first no chemo, no rads,  then in August I had a recurrence and did  Laetrile and IVc. In December I had another lump grow on the scar line and went to the IPT Dr.  He seems to be pretty good.  I am very pleased with his care. He is using 4 different chemo's, an antibiotic, Vit C and a liver shot afterwards.  I am also taking Artimisinin and milk thistle during the week given by him.  The insulin shock has been very easy for me.  When I start sweating my sugar is low and its time to give me glucose and the chemo.  I am in his office for about 2 hours.  I have Lupus and heart disease so I have been fighting regular chemo and radiation from day one!

Thanks Sue for this information, I have a cousin who is considering this as she has had a recurrance..  Your new IPT Dr. sounds like he has covered all bases!  I hope this works well for you - please keep us all informed as you progress..  Best!

Definition of IPT:    IPT  (Insulin Potentiation Therapy) is a simple medical procedure that uses the hormone insulin, followed by glucose, to deliver drugs better, and to make them work more effectively, in smaller doses, with reduced or no side effects.    (from the iptq.com website.)
