Hi,

Has anyone heard of having HER- in breast tissue biopsie. But lymphnode biopsie showed a + is this possiable??? My friend was told she was Her2- when she had her path report back but after doing a node biopsie they said she was +. She asked me if this is a mistake and I said I just didn't know. Any answer's would be great. She has ILC in both breasts only positive for nodes in one.

                                                         Thanks!!!!!!

    Hi,

My breast cancer in the breast was not Her-2+ and it was grade 2.

My one lymph node was Her2+++ and grade 3.  My onc. said cancer will do what it wants and it does change sometimes.  I did TCH chemo, then radiation, and now am on Femara and still doing the herceptin.  Hope that helps!

Thanks for the respose on this. I guess it must be rare cause I have not had many responses on it. I am in hopes some more will chime in so I can tell my friend there is a few that it happens to. But thank-you for letting me know it can exsist.

                                                        Thanks, Bridget
